One of the property’s most appealing features is its ideal location, just a leisurely 1-minute stroll away lies the tranquil beach and harbour. There are several local pubs, one at the harbour, the other a few minutes’ walk up the hill. When you explore beware of the winding alleys and nooks for sleeping cats, explore the art galleries and shops for mementos. If you follow the paths upwards you will be able to look over the rooftops at the spectacular view. From Ragginis Hill you can walk to Lamorna, a beautiful cove and small village or catch the bus to Newlyn and Penzance. Spend a day at Marazion, visit St Michaels Mount, stop for an ice-cream or pasty and look at the small shops and galleries as well as enjoying the long sandy beach and clear water.
While this cottage provides a serene escape for adults looking to unwind and immerse themselves in the maritime history of the area, it’s important to note that it may not be suitable for young children. The second steep staircase, a part of the cottage’s character, is characterized by narrow and steep steps, which might pose a challenge for little ones. Parking during the peak summer period is limited, you can park for free at the top of the road leading to the village, leave the car then catch the buses and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
