An absolute gem of a home - thank you so much! We had the best time. Well located to be able to walk into St. Augustine and other local amenities. The home was spacious and well stocked. The pool was a treat to have as well. We would highly recommend and love to return here when visiting Florida again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our family loved this home and really enjoyed our stay! The backyard/pool was such a great way to unwind from the heat after exploring the historic district and its location is very convenient to all of the sites and fun that St Augustine and Anastasia Island have to offer. Two thumbs up from our kids (6 & 9.)

Lion

Location is great. Close to restaurants and. beaches. Walking over the Lion Bridge is amazing. It really is the best of both worlds! The house is comfortable with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The pool and hot tub are just right too!

Great choice for family with children

Clean, comfortable home in a great location. Wonderful, well maintained heated pool and hot tub were the highlight of the trip for my grandchildren (and worked well despite somewhat cooler weather). Easy walk (approx 1/2 mile) across bridge to downtown area. Many restaurants to choose from both downtown as well as south toward the beaches.

Excellent Location and Stay

We absolutely loved our stay on Dolphin Drive. This was our first vacation with our one year old son. The vast amount of space the house has as well as the pool were perfect for the three of us. We loved being able to walk across the Bridge of Lions each morning and evening for food, coffee and drinks. The only downside really was the bed in the main bedroom. It was really uncomfortable both the mattress and the sheets. It was also really noisy. With every turn in the night, the bed made everyone in the house know. With us travelling with such a young child, a comfy bed gives you some comfort after a long day of playing, sight seeing and walking. I think the bed could definitely do with an upgrade. We would love to come back one day as the house is beautiful as is St Augustine. Hopefully if we do return the bed is a lot comfier and less noisy! The hosts made contact with us prior to our visit to give us an update after Hurricane Milton which we were very thankful for and made check in really easy. Thanks guys

The best pool ever

We stayed here again just for the pool and backyard. The big ledge plus the spa is perfect for little kids. The rest of the house is great too. The only con is the kitchen is sorely needing some updated kitchenware. Only like 5 plates and the cups are stainedv. And no larger pots made it challenging to cook for the group. There are new owners though so hopefully they will remedy this. :)

Fantastic Place

What a great place to stay! This house was so close to everything, even within walking distance to some great restaurants, and only a short drive from everything else. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking and riding bikes. The host, Lindsay, was quick to respond to any issue or question. On the day of check in the washer was broken (noticed by the cleaning crew) and they quickly had it replaced. Also the batteries in the door lock were dying and those were quickly replaced as well. The house had a great lay out and was so bright and airy. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious. The pool was fabulous amd refreshing especially after a morning at the beach and walking around town. We didn't use the fire pit, but it was nice amd had chairs to sit around it. They even had a Pac-Man game in the garage area, which was a hit with the kids. There was not a playground as pictured, but I assumed it was ruined in one of the storms (already addressed with the host), but the bounce house was available to use. I did suggest a new set of pots and pans, a full set of dishes, and a guest book, which they are working on. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

A TRUE PARADISE

The property was even better than I expected!! It was so nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels, washcloths, and beach towels, and lots of pool toys and floats. There were 7 of us there to celebrate my oldest daughter graduating high school. She had a blast getting to spend everyday in the pool. The backyard is a true paradise. We relaxed in the pool and watched pink flamingos fly over multiple times. They are my favorite bird!!! We grilled out one day using the grill provided and my own mother spent so much time in the hammock that is attached to 2 palm trees. The location of the home is so close to all the things you could ever dream of doing. My husband and I would love to come back with all 4 of our kids so they can experience the joy we felt. It was our first time in St. Augustine, and it did not disappoint!! The host was also always available to answer any questions. Food recommendations: SARBEZ, Pizza Time, GAS Full Service Restaurant, Marina Munch(Funkadelic food truck was so good), Salt Life Food Shack, Prohibition Kitchen, Kookaburra 312, Island Donuts, and Rita's Italian Ice and Custard.

Amazing

Great property. Can't say more about the backyard but great especially for kids or entertaining. Pool and spa was amazing. Pool was cleaned 2 times during stay. Modern appliances, river view, great beds and tvs. Recommendation, walk to whetstone chocalates and Osteen seafood.

Very comfortable & relaxing

We had a wonderful time at this property! The pool and hot tub are great to relax in. The kitchen is superbly equipped to satisfy any of your cooking expeditions, with everything from a Keurig to a waffle maker. The beds are very comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. We enjoyed the short walks across the Lion’s Bridge to get to the historic district…great location! I did suggest to the owner that a welcome & operations book (that describes the house systems, WiFi, garbage, favorite restaurants nearby & attractions) etc, should be on the counter for guests to familiarize themselves. I hope that this is implemented as it would reduce a lot of confusion. Also a guest sign-in book would be nice, for visitors to share their experiences with owner, and each other, and brag about favorite restaurants and activities they’ve done! Richard was exemplary in immediately contacting us to answer any questions or concerns. Had a great time here and I know you will too. 😊

We had a lovely time. The property is well maintained and comfortable. The salt water pool and hot tub were very nice. We were within walking distance of historic St. Augustine. Only real negative - the router kept going out and had to be reset. Overall, we would stay here again.

Cool mid-century vibe. But pool and hot tub too cool :(

Great size for family. Nice TVs. Our visit was Feb. 5-11. Our overall rating was based on the fact that the pool was way too cold to tolerate. (And I am used to swimming in a cool, spring fed lake). We contacted the owner. The pool heater cannot always heat the pool sufficiently. I had planned on using the pool to do PT. Raising the pool temp with the WI-FI controller did not help. We could raise the hot tub temp moderately by keeping it on for a long time (maybe up to 90 degrees). We would have booked elsewhere if we had known we could not use the pool.

Great accommodations!

Absolutely great time here and would come back again. The house and location were better than expected. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. This was our first time using VRBO so this place sets the bar very high!

Great way to experience historic St Augustine

We had a wonderful time! The house was just what we needed for my husband, myself, my in-laws and our three girls (5 and younger). So much to do at the home itself! The pool was amazing, loved the ledge for our youngest daughter. We brought pool toys but they weren't needed as it was well stocked. The hammock was my favorite place to be. The girls loved the arcade game. The neighborhood was a great place for evening walks and everyone was so friendly. We walked downtown multiple times, the girls loved walking over the bridge! We hope to stay here again!

Backyard Oasis

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for our vacation. The backyard is huge and perfect for a game of Bocce ball. The patio, pool, hot tub and putting green also got plenty of use as my children never wanted to leave. We even found a hammock in the storage room and my husband purchased straps to hang it. The location is a short walk (0.08 miles to be exact) to downtown and we did it easily a total of three times with a stroller and two children. The only con and it has NOTHING to do with the house or the owners is that the neighbor directly to the right of the property is a very crabby man who thinks nothing about calling the police and wasting tax payer dollars when he hears even the slightest noise coming from this rental after 9pm. All in all it was an amazing trip and we definitely will be back. We are hopeful that by next spring the neighbor finds his happy place and moves to the country where evening talking and splashing doesn’t effect his everyday happiness.

Great house perfect for families

The house was in a nice location with proximity to downtown, tourist sites, and the beach. The heated pool and spa were wonderful and the backyard was great. We enjoyed our stay and the owners/managers were responsive and helpful.

Very good location and nice property

The pool, hot tub and backyard were great bonuses to the stay at the house which was large enough for 3 adults and one teen. We enjoyed being close to downtown St. Augustine without the crowds and traffic on a quiet residential street. The host was very responsive and accommodative to the questions we had. A consideration for the future is to furnish the kitchen a bit more with pots, pans, etc. to make it functional to prepare family meals. That being said, we had all of the essentials and made breakfast at home each day before heading out.

Paradise found !

If you like QUIET right next to EVERYTHING, then this is your place. We had 4 adults with 4 kidos under age 6 and we still had plenty of room . The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood is great for walks/runs. I was amazed how close everything was. As other reviews have stated, you can walk to almost everything. The kids loved to walk over the bridge of Lions and BANG, your in the middle of everything ! If I were to nit pic one thing it is the lack of dresser draws in two of the bedrooms, but that's really it and Richard will address this issue I'm sure. He was great, pleasant to talk with and responsive to my questions. He even has his "guy" take the trash to the curb ! How good is that ! Oh, did I mention..... The pool and spa ARE SPETUCULAR ! Overall the pictures of this property are exactly what you get but BETTER ! Thanks Richard for a wonderful family vacation.
