O "Great Escape" fica bem na praia e oferece uma vista panorâmica de Cape Lookout, Netarts Bay e Oceano Pacífico. A casa tem três quartos e dois banheiros e meio.

A grande sala tem mais de 600 pés quadrados e oferece vistas do oceano e da baía e uma cozinha incrível, além de áreas de trabalho e estudo, o que torna esta casa boa para quem quer trabalhar e se divertir na praia. Armários de cerejeira e muitas bancadas de granito destacam a cozinha aberta.

Os quartos dispõem de um mestre com uma cama king size, um segundo quarto com uma rainha e um terceiro quarto com duas camas de solteiro (também podem ser feitas como cama king size). Os banheiros do The Great Escape são muito grandes e têm balcões de granito e ladrilhos de ardósia. Há também uma lavadora e secadora para sua conveniência.

We were looking for a few day get away and this place hit the mark. The ocean views were fantastic, had several great beach walks and the weather was bright and sunny.

Great place to watch storms.

It was the biggest storm I have ever experienced on the coast. The house was wonderful and cozy, and having the direct access to the beach was such a bonus

Title says it all. Great place to stay, house is in excellent condition and the management company is very responsive. Highly recommend. Join the polar plungers out in the bay if you get the chance one morning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After seeing this property online, we decided to up our budget from others in the area, and it was worth every penny of it! The house was as described, beautiful, clean and well maintained as well as nicely appointed, and it provided the perfect "escape" to visit our daughter who is currently on contact in Portland. Even though off-season, the location and views were beautiful, allowing for a quick stroll up the beach, or a drive into Tillamook or further up or down the coast. Monica and Sarah provided great communication and everything went as expected, and I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My sisters and I spent three glorious days at The Great Escape and we couldn’t have chosen a better location for our annual get-together! Everything about this beautiful home was perfection. It was immaculately clean and the furniture and beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, not only dishes and utensils but also condiments, spices, coffee filters, plastic wrap, even a drawer with miscellaneous items like tape and rubber bands. Bathroom towels were thick and plush. There were so many little touches that made us feel like valued guests....a handwritten note to welcome us, chocolates, a bouquet of flowers, and a fireplace log for our first fire. Communication was outstanding! Monica and Sarah responded almost instantly to any inquiries we had. I can’t recommend this home highly enough!

The location of this home can't be beat -- there are views of the bay and the ocean and the walkable, sandy beach is just a few steps away. We saw seals, eagles, pelicans, and terns. The house itself is very clean and equipped with everything you need. Property rental staff are easy to contact if you need them.

We didn't want to leave

What a wonderful home in a wonderful location! Even with neighbors, it was so quiet here. The beach views changed every 6 hours with the tides, and we watched harbor seals playing in the bay, found some pretty shells and stones, and chatted with the friendly crabbers right out front. We did some hikes around the nearby capes, and since we visited during a new moon, the night sky was pitch black with a million stars. Sarah, the house manager, promptly answered our questions and got us extra kitchen equipment that we wanted to use to make a dinner in. We didn't want to leave, and we are giddy planning our return!

The screen doors were not working well which I am sure the weather etc. do not help. As well the showers do not have a product holder or niche for items in the shower. Maybe just a hanging shelf off of the shower head. Otherwise, it was very nice.
