Wonderful property, not too far from shops or days out to sightsee but far away for peace and tranquility. Good selection of dvds for the rainy days that we stayed in, a keyboard for the children and fantastic gardens to explore. Michael, the owner was so helpful and always available if needed. Very knowledgeable on the area too. We stayed here for 10nights, comfortable beds, was a shame about the weather as we could not really sit out. On the off chance it didnt rain, there were plenty of games for the children to enjoy, and make friends with Gilbert the ginger cat! The fire was wonderful to light and made it extra cozy. We look forward to returning one day as it felt a little corner of heaven here. Came back with a family of 5 with no washing either, thanks to the machine being there and tumble dryer!
