Perfect for the ultimate Lake Tahoe family vacation, everyone is sure to enjoy this beautifully appointed home featuring a well-equipped, full kitchen, a formal dining room with seating for guests, and an inviting living area with high ceilings. Spend a night watching movies on the TVs with an excellent sound system for the TV in the living room. This home also includes a loft area with a futon, desk, and work area if you need to get some work done while you're away from the office. After a day of winter or summer adventures, this is exactly where you'll want to return to! Use the steam shower in the primary bathroom then sip your favorite beverage on the deck in the Adirondack chairs and fire up the grill,

Conveniently located in a popular lakefront neighborhood, this Tahoe home puts you in the middle of the best Sierra attractions. The multi-use trail system is just one block away from where you can go for a walk, bike, or run. Head East to Carnelian Bay where you can rent SUPs at Waterman's Landing. Go west to Tahoe City where you can visit family-friendly restaurants, rent boats and SUPs, and more. Make the trip North into the Tahoe National Forest. A prime spot for skiers is close by at the Tahoe City Cross Country Center just a mile away, with NorthStar (12 miles), and Squaw/Alpine (10 miles) a bit farther out. In the summer, Skylandia Beach is less than one mile away. Take a stroll to and along the beach and take in the beautiful views and refreshing lake water!

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
A 4x4 is recommended (chains are required) in winter.
Due to local rules and regulations hot tubs, pools, and some activity spaces including private beaches are unavailable at this time. As local policies change by the hour, access to amenities is beyond our control. We encourage you to check local regulations before your trip so you can be as prepared as possible.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Ineffective management company and LOCKED hot tub
We found the house itself to be spacious, bright, and comfortable for our group of two adults and three teens. The kitchen was functional even if not as generously stocked as others with basics (cooking oil, sugar for coffee, etc.) that visitors don't always pack. The downstairs guest rooms did not receive much warmth from the forced-air heating system, but they were otherwise comfortable. So, why only two stars? Long story short, we were supposed to arrive on a Thursday evening, but due to the total closure of all routes to Tahoe for two days, we had no choice but to stay in hotels in and near Roseville for two nights, waiting out the weather and for the roads to open. Finally the highway opened, and we endured the long and slow drive to Tahoe, finally arriving at the house on Saturday, totally exhausted, for our final night in town. Having paid for three nights but getting only a one-night stay, we were disappointed but at least we could take advantage of the hot tub and relax with a long soak. To our disappointment, the hot tub was LOCKED. We called the property management company (NO ability to contact the owner directly) for help. They could not help us. At first, they told us that the property did not advertise the hot tub amenity. I was literally staring at the property listing touting a hot tub (words and photos) when the agent was telling me this. (Not even to mention that the owners placed a sign in the house that said (paraphrasing): no vacation is a good vacation unless you can relax in the hot tub. (Not joking!) I asked the agent to obtain the hot tub lock's code. Suffice it to say, the management company was totally useless. After more than an hour, they told us that the onsite staff could not be reached. What, then, is the point of having a property manager that cannot reach the onsite staff. The owner apparently wants no part of making sure guests' needs are met. The morning of our scheduled departure, we called property management to ask for a late checkout--noon, instead of 10 am. We were told that because we didn't ask earlier, they would not allow it, even though they confirmed that no guests were scheduled to arrive that day. Moreover, they made sure we understood that a late departure would incur a charge. The house itself was fine, but if anything goes wrong or you need any assistance with anything related to the property, be warned. The management company is totally useless.

Hot Tub Issue
There is a photo of the hot tub in the back yard and there is a review from a guest who used the hot tub, so I assumed this house had a hot tub I could use, but that is not the case. It is there, but it is locked an not available for guests. This is probably because it looks like the last person who used it cut their foot on some glass that a previous guest had left in the hot tub. It is a bit misleading. The photo and review should be removed from the listing.

Great Vacation Home
Great location in Dollar Point. Close to everything. All the amenities you will need for a great get away. My family enjoyed the stay. One do side, the place could have be cleaner. Cabinets had signs that they were not cleaned properly, cobwebs at areas that were clearly visible. I don’t blame the owners, rather the cleaners. Overall, a great stay.

Amazing stay! everything was perfect
Great location very close to town and the slopes, a well stocked kitchen and a nice grill on the deck made for a perfect stay. less than a mile to the lake too, made it nice to watch the sunsets!!
