Soak in the shared hot tub or enjoy a sauna session before calling it a night with a movie on the TV. The Ski Inn Condominiums are conveniently located adjacent to the Steamboat Ski area that can be accessed via a groomed and maintained access trail. The property has an on-site front desk and clubhouse, two outdoor hot tubs with beautiful views of the gondola and valley, a sauna, and an indoor hot tub as well. In the winter, you won't have to worry about finding parking, as the complimentary shuttle service can whisk you around town. Come summer, endless hiking and biking trails are scattered around the area, so the outdoorsy guests can get their fill of nature. Plus, hot springs are also nearby for those who would like to soak in warm waters surrounded by nature.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The unit was clean and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very functional. HOWEVER - despite the written materials on the website, this unit is NOT ski in or ski out lodging. It is at best a walk out, but that walk out is hundreds of yards and actually is uphill to the ski slope. One can ski to the facility, but then has to walk a ways to get to the unit. This is deceptive and inaccurate advertising. The property manager told me that ski in-ski out was an amenity like a hot tub! Well, we can choose to use an amenity such as a hot tub, but WE DO NOT GET TO CHOOSE WHETHER WE SKI IN OR SKI OUT. This was disappointing, since we chose this facility based upon the (deceptive) information that it was ski in and ski out. Other aspects - the ice cube maker in the freezer did not function. In addition, the wall thermostats appeared to be completely unconnected any heat / temperature regulation. (The unit was generally comfortable, it not too war. In one bedroom, we had to open the window to cool it at night.)

A beautiful, renovated unit in a great ski-in ski-out location

I had an amazing experience in this fully renovated 2-bedroom rental unit. The location was unbeatable - being able to step out of the building and onto the slopes was a dream come true for any skier or snowboarder. The building also had a great public hot tub that was perfect for relaxing in after a long day on the mountain. The unit itself was beautifully renovated, with a modern kitchen and comfortable beds that were perfect for a good night's sleep. It was clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into making the space as comfortable and inviting as possible. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, and the living room was a great place to relax and unwind after a long day on the slopes. While the building itself may be a bit outdated, the unit was top-notch and felt brand new. The only minor downside was that due to hot tub time limitations, we had to register for hot tub time slots ahead of time. However, this was a small inconvenience compared to all the great benefits that the rental unit and building’s location had to offer. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental unit to anyone looking for a great ski-in ski-out location in Steamboat. The beautiful unit, comfortable beds, and modern kitchen made for an unforgettable stay.
