When we arrived, the power was switched off. We had to figure out how to turn it on in the dark.
There is no second bedroom. The bunk beds are in the hallway by the entrance door.
We had no hot water for 2 nights and 3 days. We tried to call the management desk many times, but no one was picking up the phone. They just emailed back telling us to check if the power was on!!!!
I was able to find the owner's number in a drawer. When I called, he was very apologetic but he didn't seem surprised about it as it was not the first time.
He sent a plumber who came the following day. The plumber advised that he could only " put a band-aid " on the water heater. The plumber told me that he had told the owner and management that the heater had to be changed because it dated from the 80's. It broke before and it would break again!!!
How can an apartment in the mountains in the winter can be rented out without hot water??? We were all taking icy showers after skiing. It was an atrocious experience.
Besides, the living room blind would not go down and the door that goes to the balcony would not lock so we had to lower this blind to feel secured....
