Located in a Developing Neighbourhood,Our vacation home is just 3 minutes away from the Convention Center, very close to the train station, and only a short drive away from Downtown, Palm Beach, and the Norton Museum of Art. Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with an outdoor living area perfect for a barbecue in the garden with recreational games like trampoline and badminton.

Not a great experience

Unfortunately this wasn't a great experience. After booking I had to go through another booking/confirmation system that consistently had technical issues. The door wasn't locked when I arrived (not safe at all), which is good because the code for the lock didn't work either. I had to cancel an early morning appointment last minute because the door wouldn't lock behind me when leaving. The AC didn't work, it was 86 degrees in the house when I arrived and was still over 80 degrees when I left. There were 6 fans running, which were not very effective. There were only two towels in the entire house, and no bathmat, so I had to use my one face towel on the floor so the bathroom didn't flood. The shades in the house are all busted, meaning people are still able to see inside when they are closed, including in the bedrooms - I had to hang one of the two towels over one window and pillows over the gaps in the other to get privacy. The sheets had stains on them and there are no extra linens anywhere. The house itself has a nice kitchen and good space, the beds are comfy, but overall a stay with a lot of hiccups considering it was just one night. Company running it offered partial refund since there was not time to resolve the issues prior to my departure, but still a lot of hassle.

Terrible!!!!!

I do not recommend anyone to book this stay. The neighborhood was so bad I did not feel safe to get out of my car I did not even stay. I ended up paying double and booked a hotel room. I felt if I stayed my car would not be there the next day. Unsafe neighborhood!!!!cops were in and out. Owner refused to give me a refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. He will not give you the address till you check in at the very last min and there’s definitely a reason why.

The apartment suited out needs

The apartment suited our needs as we are a close family and can sleep on top of each other but the statement that it fits up to seven is pushing it. If you enjoy the feeling of being a sardine and to not mind sharing a bed and a room with others then you will probably be at home. It can fit three couples or a couple with children but to fit strangers/friends who might not be comfortable with sharing a bed this is an apartment for no more than 3 people. The neighborhood is not the best but if you are just going from apartment to car it is no problem. Late walks are not the best idea for all. One morning I was out and my wife was woken by what she thought to be a knock on the door. When she answered the knock no one was there. As the police show up it was confirmed that what she thought were knocks, were actually bullets fired. On arrival the code to enter the unit did not work. Called management who talked down to me as I he explained how to used the provided code to get in. He excused himself from the call and called back minutes later with the code. This could have been an isolated error but two days later, a lady trying to get into her unit was experiencing the same problem. Property person kept calling to ask if the WiFi was working but could not answer how to get regular TV. Instead he explained that if we had a Netflix account we could sign in. The check list behind the door was not checked and the chocolates on the list ;-) was not provided.

You get what you pay for

Located on the other side of the tracks, this rental property is bare-boned. Be prepared to stock towels and paper products, because there were no paper towels or extra toilet paper on site. Also be aware that the owner/property manager is a third party company that will require you to photo scan your ID and credit card on their website in order to pay an additional deposit to secure the rental. They stated that they take extra cleaning precautions, but all the throw pillows and couch/chair cushions were stained. There was also blood on the bathroom door with evidence of fecal matter on the toilet brush handle. At least the bed appeared clean! I still sprayed all surfaces with a disinfectant upon arrival. I wouldn't suggest this location for anyone who is unfamiliar with urban life, because we were barraged by others who smoked weed, and participated in certain late-night activities in the parking lot. 2 of our uber drivers expressed concern either picking us up or dropping us off at the location. Just sharing this info for others so you are not caught by surprise like me! Again, I didn't pay much for this last-minute booking, and I definitely got what I paid for. However, the chat feature used to communicate with the property owner was very convenient and my inquiries were answered quickly.
