Okemo mountain home. Short walk to Okemo Mountain Resort, clock tower base lodge. Year round availability. Four bedrooms, sleeps 12 easily. Two family comfort with three levels living space. End your day in the indoor Sauna or Master bath steam shower.
The Master bedroom has a king bed & beautiful view. Two additional upstairs bedrooms; Queen bed in one bedroom & other is a bunk room (sleeps 5). Fourth bedroom is on the lower level with full windows. Has a queen bed and a set of bunks (sleeps 4) This lower level has full bathroom and an oversized living room with an oversized TV. Our home has two living rooms, allowing for adults and kids to each have space. Private yard but not fenced. Active stream can be heard from the property. Property includes working wood burning fireplace, gas grill, cornhole, and shuffle board. The mudroom has extensive storage for keeping gear & dressing for the slopes.
Steep driveway best suited for all wheel drive or four wheel drive in the winter.

Kids and dogs everywhere!

Our family (six adults, six kids, three dogs) stayed here for our annual ski trip. The home was great, lots of room to spread out and the kids loved the "play room" downstairs. We especially appreciate hosts that are dog people and allow the four legged members of the family to join in the fun. My husband wondered if the host would notice if we took the king mattress with us when we left...he said the bed was that comfortable. The walk to the lift was not bad, may be a chore for little kids. We rented lockers at the base and just left our equipment there so as not to walk in ski boots. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate all our meals in. We all got a laugh out of the Barbie sized cheese greater which required adults taking turns to grate enough cheese for Alfredo sauce! The hand held can opener has seen better days. All in all we were much pleased with the accommodations and would book again. Looking forward to next ski trip.

Ski weekend

Beautiful house very close to the Okemo Base. Clean and cozy. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Would rent again.

Great house and location

Less than 10 min walk or 2 min drive to Clocktower, great house with plenty of space to spread out. Multiple family rooms allow kids and adults to have separate spaces. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Will return!

This house is walkable to the slopes which is perfect for a large group with varied ages and ability to stay in the lodge. Also surprisingly large. Great ski house.

Lovely mountainside house

The house was spacious, clean, nicely furnished and well stocked. Very comfortable for our family of five and could easily accommodate more. The road and driveway are gravel and steep at times, so just a heads up that it may not be ideal if you have a rear-wheel-drive sedan in the winter! We visited in the summer and the location was great for a number of nearby activities including Okemo summer programs and Buttermilk Falls. The only down side is that it was unusually hot in Vermont the week we were there, and the house is not air conditioned. I suspect under more typical summer temperatures, open windows and mountain air would be just great. There were a few window fans that did help. In the winter I bet the in-house sauna and the steam shower in the master bath would be AMAZING. The host was very friendly and easy to reach when we had a question. Would absolutely go back!

Okemo weekend with Baba and Pop

House was perfect for our multi generational family. Plenty of fun toys for the kids and great location to ski Okemo Mountain. We will definitely consider returning next year!!

Snowshoe lodge

It was a wonderful stay. The only thing I’d mention is that there were no curtains in bedrooms (except master), and none in any bathrooms. Sauced my daughter to do a McGuiver in her bathroom window! Otherwise the house was wonderful and the owner was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this house.

Wonderful stay at Okemo

Great house with everything you need, no matter the season. Ample foyer/mud room for storing ski equipment (noted, but not used since we were there in summer). Fantastic living room with plenty of space for gatherings. Stream running behind the house was calming, and table shuffleboard in the basement was great fun. Leigh was easy to reach and super-helpful.

Perfect place for summer entertaining on Okemo Mountain

Great location on Okemo Mountain and off the busy road, two minutes from the full-service grocery story and the pleasant town of Ludlow. We were a group of 3 couples, a single, and two babies and the house was the perfect size for us. We had as many as 20 people for dinner spread across the main floor and the deck - easy and comfy for everyone, gracious entertaining. The house has only been rented a few times and Leigh was quick to help us with anything we needed.

Quintessential Vermont Home

We spent three days at Snowshoe Lodge this past week. Let me start by saying it was the perfect Vermont vacation. Snowshoe Lodge greets you with an ideal mountain setting. Upon entering this home, you will be greeted with a huge entryway/mudroom to store all you hiking gear, shoes and ski gear. You will then enter the main area of the home where you will find one of the best updated and well stocked Vermont kitchens overlooking a beautiful new deck equipped with adirondack chairs, dining table and grill for taking in the great outdoors. The best part about the deck is the sounds of waterfalls/stream. We had wine and Vermont cheese purchased from the Ludlow Farmers Market on the deck. The main family room was very comfortable for relaxing and tv viewing. The stone fireplace, pine planked ceiling and mountain decor added to the quintessential Vermont experience. There is plenty of room for a large family, although we were just three. My husband and daughter enjoyed table shuffleboard competitions in the basement. There was also a sauna in the basement, which we did not try out. The bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated! The location for us was perfect as we were close to hiking. We completed the 3.4 mile Keewaydin Trail to Overlook Spur (Appalachian Trail). We also took a dip in the swimming hole at Buttermilk Falls! Had the best wings at Killarney Irish Pub. Would definitely return to Snowshoe Lodge!

Super relaxing for all!

lovely open space with 2 big hangout areas for everyone with a great place to store bikes/skis, really fun table shuffleboard, huge tv, grill and porch. rooms are really comfortable. plenty of space and bathrooms. really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms! if at the very peak of summer temps, it can be hot, a few box fans fixed that. great communication with host/contactless entry worked fine. would stay again! a quick drive to many mid vermount towns and hikes.
