This may be an okay place for a guys weekend, but I would not recommend it for a girls trip or family.
Pros:
*The location in relation to Dickies Arena was nice.
*The home was nicely cleaned before we arrived and looks like the pictures.
*check in/checkout was easy and smooth
*good price for the area.
Cons:
*It appears someone lives there, which I am not used to with vrbo. The freezer was stocked with meat, dresser drawers and closet had quite a bit of men's cloths in them, and there were personal items such as pictures in the house.
*Many posts have said it's a quiet place. It is at the end of a road by an alley so there was no traffic in front of the house , but there is a lot of other noise (one block from a busier road, trains, planes flying over, neighborhood dogs), so I wouldn't necessarily call it quiet if that's what you're looking for.
*the house has a REALLY strong odor, and it's not a good one. Best we could guess it was a musty older house smell. We had to open it up every day to air it out and it still smelled quite strongly.
*One of my biggest issues was questioning safety. The front door has a slot for a newspaper or mail and it opens from the outside and gives you a very clear visual of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. It wouldn't take too much creativity to watch people inside the house or unlock the deadbolt from the outside. Being a girls trip in a neighborhood we don't know, that was concerning.
