Enjoy the perfect mountain getaway at River Rock Retreat! A classic Big Bear cabin with modern touches. Located in Boulder Bay, it is just a short walk to the lake, or the Boulder Bay park, where you can walk the dogs and launch your kayak! You will be greeted by the large bear carving out front "Rocky."
The home has the most welcoming feeling upon entering. The family room area offers ample seating in front of the wood burning fireplace.  Curl up and watch your favorite movie or show on the large flatscreen TV. Sip a cup of coffee and enjoy the view from the family room window seat. Perfect for any time of year but will be a treat when the snow is falling. The dining room area has a large farmhouse style table with seating for eight. This open concept area allows for the entire group to be able to enjoy the space.
Off the family room is the quaint kitchen with upgraded granite counters, stainless steel appliances including a gas range/oven, dishwasher and microwave. A Keurig Coffee Machine is provided.  Have a seat at the kitchen nook with seating for four. Just off the kitchen is the fridge/freezer with a convenient counter space to unload groceries. Tucked neatly in the bifold closet is the laundry room area with a full size washer and dryer available for your use.
Off the kitchen area you will find back yard access. With multiple seating areas, sit beneath the pines and enjoy the stars. The covered porch area provides additional seating, where you can dine al fresco no matter the weather. Grill your favorites on the propane barbecue. Additionally, the back yard  is fully fenced. Where the little ones in your group or your fur babies can roam a bit.
Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, the first offering a twin over queen bunk and a twin trundle, the second room offers a queen bed  and a powder bath. You will also find a full bath off the dining area. Head upstairs to the loft area for entertainment. There is a large flatscreen TV, Vintage style arcade game and a Foosball table.  This space offers a queen pullout sofa and access to a full Jack and Jill restroom.
The upstairs master suite is a retreat in itself. Offering a king bed, a full size pull out sofa, wood burning fireplace, access to a private upper deck and a large window seat.
Keeping the original woodwork of the home, including knotty pine ceilings and walls, the crisp white walls throughout and special touches in the home make River Rock Retreat the perfect place to spend your time in Big Bear. Upgraded lighting throughout, new appliances and fixtures in both the kitchen and restrooms of the home,  extensive custom river rock accents, rustic split log trim and high end linens and furnishings, every detail was carefully thought out to provide the best, cozy and relaxing experience for your group.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult  occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.  

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

FOR PET FRIENDLY HOMES ONLY, Take your furry friend with you
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly! Please be sure to verify prior to booking that the property does accept pets.

Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.  

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In  addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned. Important: Dear Traveler, you will be charged with USD 200 in case you include a Pet in your reservation as a Refundable Damage Deposit for Pets.
