One of only a few vacation homes designed by FiveWest Interiors, this 3,100 square foot home is possibly the finest rental available in the coveted Schaffer’s Mill community. With exquisite nature views, this property has spared no expense in offering an unparalleled modern luxury experience, making for the perfect mountain escape!

As you walk in, you’ll find the main living space where the designer kitchen invites friends and family to gather. With a large dining room table seating 8 and additional seating around the large kitchen island, there is room for everyone! Just off the kitchen is the great room which is centered around a sleek and modern glass fireplace that radiates warmth in the winter and compliments the space’s floor-to-ceiling windows year-round. In the summer months, the outdoor patio and entertaining space offers gorgeous views, a barbeque and fire pit perfect for roasting s’mores.

The home features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, including a Master Bedroom on the main level with king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. Upstairs offers three additional bedrooms: one with king size bed; adjoining bathroom and walk out balcony offering stunning views of the matured pines. A kids bunk room with 2 double bunk beds and space to play; adjoining bathroom and a cozy media area featuring a large flat screen tv to watch your favorite movies on. 4th bedroom boasts another king bed, reading chair, and ensuite bath with soaking tub.

*The HOA has rules in place pertaining to hours of work, noise, etc; however some nuisance can be expected.

PLACER COUNTY SHORT TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE:

Placer County requires we inform you of the rules and regulations relevant to your home's Short Term Rental Permit. These policies are strictly enforced and fines from the county ranging from $1,500 - $5,000 can be issued to guests for each violation.

PARKING: All cars must be parked in the garage and/or driveway. Parking on the street is prohibited at all times.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the agreement.

QUIET HOURS: (9PM – 8AM) No sound from the vacation rental home shall be audible from the parcel line during this time. Noise shall be minimized in order that it not be an unreasonable annoyance, disturbance, or nuisance to neighbors.

LIGHTS OUT: All exterior lights that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors must be turned off between the hours of 10pm-7am, seven days a week.

RED FLAG WARNINGS: Due to extreme wildfire danger all outdoor wood or charcoal burning is prohibited, including open wood burn pits, bonfires, campfires, and charcoal grills. Do not bring personnel grills or portable fireplaces. When a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning is in effect for the geographical area where the short-term rental is located, all sources of outdoor open flame (including gas/propane/pellet BBQs) are prohibited.

It is your responsibility to be informed of Red Flag Warnings. You will see signs on the front of all fire district stations, hear about it on the news, see it on social media and hear about it on the radio.

TRASH: Please keep our bears safe by properly storing and disposing of trash. Do not leave food unattended in your cars our outside for any reason. Trash should be disposed of in the bear-proof trash receptacles located within the properties garage.

Truckee Summer Vacation
Beautiful home just a short drive from downtown Truckee. Perfect for 2 families with teenagers and sleeps 10 comfortably. Location was perfect as we spent a few days at Donner Lake and at Lake Tahoe. Golf course was in great shape. Can't wait to stay here in the winter for a snowboard trip to Northstar.

Very clean and great location
We went on a family vacation for the Fourth of July holiday and this home was great! Patio is on the smaller side but other than that the home was immaculate and would definitely recommend!
