La Petite Venise du Tarn

We propose you to rent, on the commune of Castres, this charming house of downtown of a surface of 100 m ² and being able to accomodate up to 6 travellers. It is composed of a nice living room of 30 m², a fully equipped kitchen, three nice bedrooms, a bathroom (with shower and bath) and you can enjoy a garden of about 80 m². Wifi (fibre optic), sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!

The accommodation is composed as follows:
On the ground floor :
- A living room of 30 m² with TV, overhead projector, sofa bed (double), dining area and a quiet corner with a game area (Tipi, Mutable table and games).
- A fully equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, hotplates, Nespresso coffee machine...
- Separate WC.
On the 1st floor:
- Bedroom 1: master suite with a king-size bed (180×200).
- Bedroom 2: a double bed (140×190).
- Bedroom 3: a children's bedroom with a single bed.
- A bathroom with bathtub.
- Separate toilet.
On the second floor :
- An attic converted into a games room with an additional single bed (reduced height, 1m60 under the roof)

Outside :
- A beautiful enclosed garden of 80m² facing west with artificial grass.
- A terrace of about 25m² within the garden with furniture to enjoy the nice days.

For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, baby bed, fan.

The house is ideally located in Castres, in a very pleasant and quiet area within a small street of the city. You will be able to benefit from the proximity of all the essential shops but also of boutiques, restaurants, bars, market...

Activities :
- Tourist sites : Visit of the city centre at less than 5 minutes, Gourjade park at 10 minutes walk, Mazamet suspension bridge, Lac des Montagnes, Albi, the Black Mountain...
- Sports activities: Archipelago swimming pool 15 minutes away on foot
- Cultural visits : Goya and Jean Jaurés museums, Sidobre, Lastours castles, Toulouse-Lautrec museum...
- Gastronomic heritage: charcuterie from the Lacaune mountains, cassoulet from Castelnaudary, Gaillac vineyards, pink garlic from Lautrec...
- Events : Market Place Jean Jaurès and Halles Market less than 5 minutes away, numerous Brocante weekends from March, Venetian carnival of the City of Castres, 01 May - Gourjade flower market...

Transport :
If you choose to come by car, private parking in front of the house (from 01 to 15 of each month) and not private on the other side (from 16 to 30 of each month).

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Nearest train station: Castres train station located about 5 minutes away by car.
- Nearest airport: Toulouse-Blagnac airport, about 1 hour by car.

Other remarks :
- Bed linen and towels included.
- Free Wifi available (fibre optic).
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- Possibility of barbecue and children's activities all day and peaceful evening (respecting the neighbours as they do us!).
- A room in the house will be closed during the stay to keep the owners' belongings.
- Cleaning at the end of the stay includes preparing the house for future visitors. Please leave the house in a clean and tidy condition and clean the appliances after use.
