Welcome to Moonshiners Lodge! Our cabin is cozy, secluded and surrounded by towering pines. Moonshiners Lodge is privately owned and managed by Mike and Lindsey. We're excited to have you and to be your hosts! Moonshiners Lodge is located on a secluded 2 acre lot surrounded by tall pines and various other hardwoods. Our cabin will comfortably sleep 6, with 1 bathroom. We have a large porch with plenty of seating!
Wonderful family or couples cabin near Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park. Located in the heart of Hochatown with restaurants and nightlife less than a mile away. We sit on two wooded acres with plenty of privacy. This cabin has a circular driveway making it easy for you to pull in and park your boats and trailers along with multiple cars. Open kitchen and living. Master downstairs with king bed and TV. Two open loft rooms, each with a queen bed. Back yard has a large deck, play cabin, swing set, hot tub enclosed in a gazebo, smoker, charcoal grill and fire pit.
The space
Our cabin is special as it truly is our home away from home. We have a very large kitchen that is fully stocked with more than you could possibly need. We provide many amenities such as coffee, filters, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, laundry detergent, books, board games, tons of movies, Alexa, ROKU for streaming, WIFI, cable TV, beach towels, and even hiking sticks. Anything you can see in our cabin, you are more than welcome to use.
All luxury cabins come with starter supplies toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, bath soap, laundry soap, dish soap, and dishwasher soap. Fully equipped kitchen with, linens, and towels. We do not provide charcoal for the grill.
Guest access
You will have full access to everything except for the green workshop out back and one locked closet in the bathroom.
Other things to note
Check in time is 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
Hot tub is drained, sanitized, fresh water added, and treated before your arrival. They are ready for use at a warm 98 degrees. Directions for hot tub use are located in your cabin manual.
We provide each cabin with free WiFi. We are not responsible for any outages, delays, or issues with the WiFi. The cabin is located in remote area therefore, the signal will vary sometimes. We will do everything to ensure you have the best internet service we can provide.
OCCUPANCY - No more than 6 guest allowed
PETS – $75 fee per pet per stay. Only dogs allowed, max 2, and must be kenneled when left unattended. You provide your own kennel. Pets are NOT allowed on ANY of the furniture. You will be responsible for any damage your pet may have to the furniture or cabin. Please pick up any droppings your dog leaves on the gravel or immediately around the cabin. There are doggy bags provided in the laundry room for your use.
Firewood is available just one mile up the road for purchase and can be delivered to the cabin.
PARTIES – NO hosting of parties of any kind allowed.
UPSTAIRS - is meant for sleeping or relaxing. No food or drinks allowed upstairs on the carpets. No playing near the railings. The stairs are very steep, please no running up and down.
STORM SHELTER – for emergency use only. Please do not let your children use this as a play space. The door is heavy and could injure a child playing with it. You will be responsible for any injury occurred during improper use of the storm shelter.
HEATER – instructions for using the heat are attached to the back. The control button is on the front of the heater, just open the door, adjust to your desired setting and it will turn on and off accordingly. 1 is the lowest heat and 5 is the hottest. If you accidentally turn off the pilot, please carefully follow the instructions on the back of the heater for re-igniting to avoid any danger.
A/C – we have one big unit in the living room and a small unit in the master bedroom. Please adjust to your personal settings once you arrive. Before leaving, turn off the master bedroom unit. During Spring or Fall, please also turn off the living room unit. If summer, do not turn off but set at 78 before leaving.
The roads in the area and leading to the property do have some pot holes that is managed and repaired by the city of Hochatown. We do not have control of the road conditions. Please be advised that you may encounter rough road conditions and plan accordingly.
The Property has security cameras placed at the front and back doors. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury, guests sneaking in pets, guests disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. The cameras are monitored by a professional security company. The cameras are off while guests are in the cabin. They are facing out away from the cabin and will not invade your privacy. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund.
