Horrible! Dangerous! Filthy! Awful Management Company! Buyer beware!
If false advertising and sleazy management needed a mascot it would be this house. We felt like Dante working our way down through the various levels of hell. Our problems began before we even entered the house. QR codes provided for gate access meant nothing and did nothing. Cleaning crew was still inside 40 minutes after check-in. House was warm and muggy. Thermostat read 80°, they had it set at 69°, in 3 days it never got below 79°. It's August so we were hot and miserable the entire time. House is filthy, run down, shabby, in desperate need of paint and a deep clean. Most of the furniture is badly stained with some in complete tatters. Bed frames are broken, walls are scuffed with patches that have been repaired but haven't been repainted. Almost immediately we discovered some extremely dangerous issues; outlets missing cover plates - outlets that are crawling-toddler level (we had 2 toddlers and a 4 year old), there is no pool security fence so it was pretty tense watching over the kids at all times. The beautiful gazebo prominently featured in their VRBO pictures in reality is a delapidated, rotting, rickety deathtrap. It has been painted a dingy gray, I guess to try to cover up the rot and degradation. It was unusable, treacherous and an eyesore. For a home that sleeps 20 there is 1 refrigerator and a few hours after putting hundreds of $$$ worth of food into it, it was only getting warmer. The rental company couldn't get someone out for repairs until the next day. By morning, everything had to be thrown out. Friends rushed out to Walmart to buy 2 massive $90 coolers, ice and MORE FOOD! Moradda Homes, the TERRIBLE rental company in charge of this house of horrors not only accepted no responsibility but refused to compensate us for the lost food, ice, cooler purchases and all the inconvenience they caused by their mismanagement but blamed us for "overloading" the fridge. They also blamed us for the AC, claiming we had set the thermostat to 60° and frozen it and that in essence we were lucky they didn't charge us for sending out a tech. We have video of the thermostat set at 69° and reading 79°. At no point did we set it below 69°. Instead of an apology or even the slightest effort to remedy any of these issues we were blamed and threatened by these lying charlatans. There were so many other problems but not enough space to list. Moradda Homes is THE ABSOLUTE WORST vacation rental company! Our 10th anniversary has been completely ruined!
