This Victorian Cottage has been painstakingly renovated to provide modern living with touches of historic character throughout. This spacious home is about a mile from the French Quarter in the Bohemian Bywater neighborhood. The house boasts 12 foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, two sitting rooms, a modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The garden is a great place to discuss your day discovering New Orleans with a glass of wine.

beautiful home
wonderful hosts that provided lots of helpful tips and suggestions for exploring New Orleans. The home is quintessential Nola design. It was great to have a secure, inclosed back yard for our pup. The beds were all very comfortable as well.

Great Stay!
From the moment we arrived we were met with the color, charm, and personality of the neighborhood. The rental was sweet, inviting, comfortable and clean, with loads of New Orleans character, as well as modern amenities and creature comforts. In the mornings we enjoyed walks to the coffee shop on Coulet St, and also ventured to Rosalitas, the local taco shop. Both 5 out of 5 star establishments! The host was beyond flexible and wonderful to work with. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Beautiful and spacious house
I stayed here the day before my wedding as I wanted a spacious spot to get ready in and have nice pictures. The house was extremely spacious and as pretty as the photos. The host was responsive to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The only thing I would make sure to plan for is that there is a train near the house that needs to be taken in consideration for any travel time as it runs frequently and is kind of hard to get around if it’s running.

Perfect Stay in New Orleans
We had a wonderful stay in this home. There were 6 adults in our party. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The outdoor deck is a nice feature too if you want to hang outside. The neighborhood is great. We walked to lots of breakfast and dinner spots and felt very safe. James the manager was super accessible throughout the booking process, check in and check out. The house had everything we needed. Great place to stay in NOLA!!

This property has been painstakingly renovated to provide modern living with touches of Old World character throughout. The location is in the Bohemian neighborhood of Bywater about a mile from the French Quarter.

We are positive that your family or group will love Bywater as much as we do! We live a couple of blocks away. The neighborhood is quirky, artsy and such a different experience making it memorable. After a long day of exploring all that NOLA has to offer and eating to your hearts content, you will escape into our spacious guest house with 12 ft. ceilings and artwork on every wall.

*****THE COUNTRY CLUB, located at: 634 Louisa St is a couple of blocks by foot where you'll find a restaurant and an outdoor SWIMMING POOL, so bring your swimsuit! (There is a fee to use the pool).

There are so many exciting things to do in NOLA beyond Bourbon St., for example, did you know that the city of New Orleans played a significant role in WWII? Its role was so huge that the Federal Government put its National WWII Museum in the city. The NWWII Museum is THE ONLY National Museum outside of Washington, D.C., so be sure to check it out. It is amazing! Lisa and I will be excited to have you as guests in our home!

The Neighborhood:
The Bywater neighborhood is known for its food as well as Southern hospitality. Crescent Park is close by, which runs parallel to the Mississippi, and offers a great place to walk or run in the morning, with its close proximity to the French Quarter.
Upon request, after booking, you will receive a personalized list of recommendations including local favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting Around:
New Orleans is a compact city, which makes getting around a breeze in a Rideshare. The French Quarter is an 8-10 minute drive away, which will run you about $10 - $15 (which is even more affordable when you split it with your group).
Biking is a convenient option as there are plenty of rental shops nearby. This is a walkable neighborhood -- take a stroll along gorgeous Crescent Park on your way to the French Quarter.
Guest Access:
The entire home is for your exclusive use. You will have complete privacy here, however, there is a street facing Ring camera at the front door. Every question or concern you may have before or during your stay will be promptly addressed via messenger or phone. In the case of a maintenance emergency, our ground team is available to assist you. Entry is keyless.
