A Happy Cottage is the perfect location for you next getaway. Located in the heart of Pigeon Forge it is just 5 minutes from the Island, Margaritaville, Paula Deen’s and only 15 minutes from Dollywood. It accommodates up to 6 people comfortably and there is a community pool to entertain the kids on those hot summer days.
The cottage itself has a 1-car garage with additional 2 car parking in front perfect if you are coming in for the car show. Inside the layout is an open floor plan of the living room and kitchen with a breakfast bar in between for convenience, so you can grab a quick breakfast before sightseeing. There is a separate dining room for family dinners in the evenings to gather together. Once you have your belly full enjoy a movie in front of the warming stone fireplace or have a night cap on the small patio talking about the events of the day.
When it’s time to turn in choose from a King or Queen bedroom both with plenty of space and a comfy mattress. The master King a jetted tub/shower combo perfect for soaking the soreness away after that long drive to ensure a restful night’s sleep. While the Queen offers private access to the other bathroom with a tub/shower combo so you can rinse your cares away before sleeping.
If you are coming for a trip to Pigeon Forge and want something in a great location that has all the necessities, you could look no further than A Happy Cottage. It will keep you in a happy state of mind during your getaway to the mountains.

Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood

The Happy Cottage made us happy! It's a beautiful place located off the main road, so very quiet and relaxing. A great respite after hiking and a bear encounter/siting at Laurel Falls - so cool.

We really liked the area of his house. It was in a quiet neighborhood, yet very convenient to everything. It was clean and just the right size. Yes, the house was clean but it could have been cleaner. It needs a good deep clean. The baseboards and the doors in the bathroom were pretty dirty. The beds were very loud and squeeky, which made sleeping with a baby difficult. Overall, it was good and we would rent again!

Right off the main road

We had a great stay and loved how close we were to everything. The little neighborhood had multiple vacation homes so I didn’t feel odd being in the neighborhood. Some of the outer neighborhoods are a little rundown but it didn’t bother us has I noticed a state trooper lived close by.

Very relaxing stay

Very nice,clean and quiet neighborhood. The only issue I had was there was no code for the door entering the house from the garage.

Exactly as advertised

Very clean. Decorated nicely for Christmas. Easy instructions. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Property was just off the parkway making for quick & easy access to anywhere you wanna go but also far enough off to avoid the lights & busy road to relax. Fees seemed a little high, but probably not more than any other place. Would definitely stay again!

Pigeon Forge Getaway

We were very happy with our cabin at the Bear Camp Rental property. The people at the rental office were very helpful when we had to ask for assistance. The cabin was clean and perfect for our weekend getaway. I've always been happy with my bookings with VRBO and would definitely recommend VRBO to anyone looking to find lodging or accommodations wherever they want to go.

Great weekend getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Happy Cottage. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes from the Parkway and convenient to all that Pigeon Forge has to offer.

Very nice, clean and convenient. Everything we needed for the weekend with a quiet porch to enjoy coffee every morning. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Great location!

This villa was just 3 blocks from the parkway, very convenient. Very clean and well equipped for a family or a couple. Check in was also very easy. I would highly recommend this home for you next vacation in the Smokies!

Great place to stay!

What a nice place to stay! So close to all the attractions and all that Pigeon Forge has to offer. Clean and well stocked…. Had all the necessities. Christmas decor was an added bonus. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Love this cozy stay

This is our 2nd time coming to stay at David's cozy cottage. It seems like it gets better each time. We saw a few things switched out to give a different look which was nice to see. It's warm and so cozy for our family. It felt like a home away from home. I think the only difference from last time was that there was beautiful Christmas decor outside and inside to spread the joy of the holiday season. We would have loved it even more but we really enjoyed ourselves at our stay. We will be back again next year for Christmas and we already can't wait. Thanks David!

Annual girlfriend trip

My girlfriends and I have been meeting innPF/Gatlinburg for years now on our annual “YaYa” trip. David’s cottage was perfect for us. So convenient! My first words to my friends was, “my husband and I could live in this cottage and be very content”. Will definitely stay here again.

Rest Assured is exactly as it is pictured. Lovely neighborhood. Had everything you could ever need in a vrbo. So close to lots of restaurants and attractions in Pigeon Forge. We had a wonderful time!

Much Needed Vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, spacious, well maintained, and located just minutes from everything. It was really nice having the garage to load and unload out of the cold. The property owner was very nice and checked to make sure everything was in order when we arrived. We will definitely look to rent this property again.

Perfect townhouse, perfect location

The townhouse was immaculate, spacious, fully contained, perfect location for our 10 day stay. Very quiet, despite everything close by; shows, museums, shopping, Dollywood, restaurants, Gatlinburg, the Smoky’s. The area is beautiful, with so much to see/do, our “to do” list is incomplete which might lead us back to David’s one day. Thank you David for the use of your great home, and the ease of the process.
