Newly-renovated and refreshed upscale 6BR 5.5BA vacation home with a bright and open "farmhouse modern" style! Mountain Mojo sits on approximately 11 gently-rolling acres, all navigable and safe for children to explore. It offers blueberry fields, a creek that skirts one border of the property, a large open meadow, and rolling wooded acreage, all accessible to guests and most of which is visible from the house! Within walking distance and visible from the front patio is the Banner Elk Winery! Don't miss out on a chance to enjoy a tasting or a lovely dinner at the neighboring winery.

The house itself has two levels. The main/upper floor has a level entry on the side of the home facing the driveway and parking area, while the lower floor has multiple exterior entrance options. All but one are level-entry with no steps from the other side of the house. The oversized two-car attached garage offers entrance into the kitchen and easy entry. A level gravel driveway and large, level parking area make access extremely easy and provide plenty of parking for numerous vehicles.

Once inside, the main level features open-concept living with a huge great room and open kitchen and dining area. There are luxury touches like coffered ceilings, the stone fireplace - custom-designed and hand-crafted, wood-burning and open on three sides, and comfy-yet-contemporary designer furniture. Coupled with huge oversized windows which welcome lots of sunlight and frame picturesque mountain views, the great room at Mountain Mojo is a spectacular space for entertaining, gathering with family and friends, or relaxing beside a warm fire.

The open and expansive kitchen has updated Quartz countertops, stainless appliances, an apron-front farm-style sink, a custom stone backsplash, and plenty of storage space in the cabinets and pantry. The central kitchen island has barstool seating for 4. Add that to the banquet-style dining table with seating for 10, and up to 14 guests can dine indoors together! Wood floors and exposed beams blend rustic mountain warmth with a clean, bright modern contrast - characterized by the paint color, light fixtures, finishes, and furniture - creating a fresh-yet-familiar, comfortable and appealing "farmhouse modern" character.

The main level also offers 4 bedrooms, two of which are suites and 3.5 bathrooms. For convenience, the half bath/powder room is close to the great room and kitchen area. The primary master suite is generous in size. It features a King bed, a nook with a desk, a sitting area, an HD Smart TV, and mountain views. The recently-renovated private ensuite master bathroom features a large shower with tile and frameless glass and a Quartz vanity countertop with "His & Hers" sinks. The second main-level suite has a Queen bed, an HD Smart TV, and a private ensuite bathroom. There is another Queen bedroom with an HD Smart TV and a King bedroom, with an HD Smart TV, mountain views, and direct entrance into a full bathroom, also accessible from the hallway, with a tub and shower combo.

The lower level boasts a huge step-down den and game room with a shuffleboard table, a large comfy sofa with a Queen sleeper for extra sleeping options, a large HD Smart TV, and an electric fireplace that adds warmth and ambiance. Two more bedrooms are on this level. The first is a large suite with a King bed, a Twin-over-Twin bunk bed, HD Smart TV, sitting area, and private EnSuite full bathroom. The second lower-level bedroom offers a Queen bed and HD Smart TV. A second full hallway bathroom on the lower level is convenient to the den and game room and the Queen bedroom.

The substantial open-air patio off the great room and kitchen/dining area features a stainless gas grill and a beautiful teak outdoor dining table that seats up to 8 guests. There are views of the mountaintops, the rolling valley meadows, acres of blueberry bushes followed by acres of grapevines, and the winery estate from this patio. Two steps lead down into the yard, which rolls gently downhill from the house. Guests can enjoy the wood-burning fire feature in the yard. During harvest season, guests are also welcome to enjoy picking fresh organic blueberries from the acres of blueberry bushes. Guests can venture down to the creek, which borders this property at the end of the open meadow, and their border in the block of woods.

Mountain Mojo has WiFi internet, digital programming and Smart TV options for 8 HD Smart TVs, and central heat and air conditioning for year-round comfort.

Well-mannered dogs are welcome at Mountain Mojo. Two (2) maximum per reservation, with a 50-pound weight limit per dog. Standard pet fees do apply, and dogs must be kept crated or kenneled if left unattended at any point during your stay.

Mountain Mojo is a peaceful mountain getaway with plenty of privacy and elbow room, yet also conveniently close to everything the High Country offers! The downtown area of Banner Elk is less than 3 miles away and boasts numerous fantastic restaurants, shops, and community parks. The exciting Alpine Wilderness Run outdoor roller coaster is less than 6 miles away. Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and the Sugar Mountain Public Golf Club are less than 8 miles away, offering proximity for snow skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snow tubing, and sledding! Grandfather Mountain and its popular Profile hiking trails are less than 10 miles away. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zip Line Park is 13 miles away. The town of Boone, and the Appalachian State University campus, are less than 15 miles away. The town of Blowing Rock is about 20 miles away. Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain are both about 18 miles away. Two fantastic rivers are within 5 to 10 miles offering fly fishing, rafting, tubing, kayaking, and more. Countless walking, hiking, and cycling trails crisscross the surrounding areas outside of downtown and beyond!
