Newly (post-Dorian) rennovated 2-bedroom (king), 2-bathroom (plus an outdoor garden shower) cottage minutes from the Great Guana Cay settlement. Although not waterfront, easy access to the sea and ocean - with great views of both – from the comfortable living spaces, inside and out. 
The inside, crow's nest and porches are entirely renovated; be aware the gardens are fortunately rapidly returning to their previous lushness. All photos are current, post Dorian, as of July 2022. Guana Cay itself (like all of Abaco) is still in the rebuild process; please reach out to us with any questions about island-wide amenities such as dining, golf cart and boat rentals, etc. (this is ever-changing at the moment). This is our second home of 20 years and has been rebuilt and thoughtfully equipped with love for both ourselves and our guests — with comfortable and private indoor and outdoor living spaces and extensive amenities and appliances. You'll easily find your favorite place to relax and enjoy the paradise that is Great Guana Cay - whether it's our crow's nest with views to the sea and ocean, or our garden oasis full of tropical plants and birds.

Television with Apple TV, a VPN-equipped FireStick, Direct TV, Sonos speakers, whole house filter, full well-equipped kitchen, beverage center with mini fridge, ice maker and sink, both with RO for pure drinking water. 
We have a push-to-start generator. It is easy to use and will run the whole house. We leave it full for your use, and an extra full gas can. This will run the house comfortably for about 36 hours. If you need more than that, you can purchase regular gas at Orchid Bay Marina. (This helps us avoid surcharges for generator use or fuel and you can choose to run it as much or as little as your comfort level - we often just go to the beach if the power goes out)

Be aware that the minimum turnover is set to 48 hours; this can often be shortened - please contact us so we can check with our caretaker about her availability. Likewise, we often block time out for our use, feel free to check with us if your dates are unavailable. We are happy to be flexible with booking and rebooking whenever possible - please reach out to us. 

No children under the age of 16, no pets under any circumstances. No smoking in house or in immediate vicinity of open windows or doors (owner has significant smoke allergies). 1-4 adults in two king bedrooms only. No floor or couch sleeping.  Caretaker will check.
