LIVING AREA

Vaulted ceilings soar in the sun-soaked Great Room, detailed with a sleeper sofa and a 40” cable TV.

The loft presents a quiet spot to read or plan vacation adventures.

KITCHEN & DINING

The sleek kitchen is configured with ample counter space, helpful gadgets, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances.

Chill favorite bottles in the convenient wine fridge and share delicious dishes at the kitchen bar for four or the pub table for two.

BED & BATH

This two-story stilt home sleeps six guests between a queen-size sleeper sofa in the Great Room and three bedrooms -- each equipped with a cable TV.

Comfort awaits in the primary suite, appointed with a king bed and a roomy private balcony. The en-suite bathroom holds a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom sports a twin-over-full bunk bed, while the third bedroom includes a king bed, a stereo, and a writing desk. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Walk to the soft sand and surf via beach access just one house to the west.

Soak up the sun on your roomy Gulf-front deck while burgers sizzle on the charcoal grill. Several tables offer ample space for alfresco dining.

An outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after fun-filled beach days.

Complimentary Wi-Fi, beach chairs, and a washer/dryer are provided in the rental.

Parking is available for up to three vehicles.

Access to this raised home is via one flight of exterior stairs.

THE LOCATION

Your prime beachfront locale encourages carefree vacation days. Spend sunny days on the sand, cast a line off the shore, or rent a golf cart to explore the area.

Jamaica Beach and Galveston Island State Park are both just a couple minutes away. Schlitterbahn (18 minutes) and downtown Galveston (30 minutes) are also within a short drive.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The house is literally on the beach and was easily accessible to grocery stores and restaurants. The house itself is dated and could use some TLC.

Needs Work
We have stayed at several different rentals on the island, and I've never given a bad review. However, this one needs to be addressed because it makes Vacasa look bad. The only thing going for this rental is the view and location. The house itself was a huge disappointment. Pulling up, the lawn needed to be mowed. The front door knob and lock were so rusted we had difficulty getting in and locking up. We finally stopped locking the deadbolt. No side tables in the living room. No dining table, barstools and counter height game table only. Main floor master mattress was so hard and thin we went and bought a mattress topper. Sheets were pilled. Other king size was in the loft. Nicer mattress, but no closet or bathroom. Only a narrow spiral staircase to access, so you have to carry luggage over your head to get it upstairs. Limited utensils. No "extras" like trash bags, laundry soap. Several lightbulbs burned out or altogether gone in lamps, overhead lighting. Mirrors "peeling" in bathrooms. Commode rocked when you sat down. Nails needed to be tacked down on deck. Some miniblinds missing rods. Outlet covers and air vent covers rusted. The cleaning staff did the best they could, but everything is so old in there it didn't feel clean. Deck lights plugged in through a window. There is no driveway, and the covered parking is steep, even with the wood ramps provided, if you have a low spoiler you will not be able to pull into covered parking. As I said, you can't beat the location on the west end, and the views. With a little TLC this would be a favorite spot.

Great location, but…
To start off, the location was perfect. It is literally on the beach. The kitchen has nice appliances as well. However, there are some shortcomings. - There is a stand-alone A/C unit for the upstairs room, however the main floor A/C struggles during the heat of the day. Inside temp gets up to 80 degrees, but it will slowly cool down at night to 74. - Both entry doors are off centered and let in very strong drafts. Had to put a towel between the door and frame when closing the door to prevent the air from coming in. May also contribute to the A/C struggling so much. - Door locks/striker plates were rusted/broken. The main door lock cylinder would just spin, had to forcefully pull the door shut with one hand while pushing the key into the lock to try to get the lock to engage to lock/unlock the door. (Vacasa was notified, said they would address it) -General upkeep is needed. You can tell the bathroom are updated/in the process of being updated. However there is missing drywall/caulk around the sink counters, wires exposed above the guest vanity. Carpets very stained. - House description says beach chairs are provided, however none were.

This house had cockroaches coming out of vents and in bed and kitchen cabinets and the A/C did not work I had to buy Air Conditioners and had to open all windows it was 90 degrees in house for 3 nights

Stunning but dirty
This house / location is amazing!! We loved the view!! Exquisite. However, the inside of the house was dirty and in need of obvious repair. This house needs a little TLC and basic cleaning. It felt a bit neglected.. I wish it were for sale bc I'd buy it!
