Nice Location, Nice Property, Beware of Summer Heat

This is the bottom floor of an apartment style condo in an older building. The unit is big enough to be comfortable with a group, has been nicely decorated, everything was very clean, and the underground parking spot was a great thing to have. I stayed here with two of my daughters, so having two bathrooms was a great benefit. The location near downtown and the stampede grounds was great as well. The one major downside to this unit is that there is no air conditioning. After looking at the listing again, there was no AC mentioned as being included. I wrongfully assumed it was included, so was quite surprised at how hot the unit was (roughly 30C). There were quite a few fans included, but as this was a ground level unit, opening the windows meant there was only a screen between a would-be thief and the unit. We'd leave the windows open when it was cool enough and we were there and awake, otherwise we'd keep them closed. It stayed pretty warm for our stay; the only downside.

Great little place

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little apartment in a great location in Calgary. There were a few small issues that we alerted the management company to so they can deal with them for future guests. (cleaning the windows, some minor damage and painting requiring attention) Great price and lots of fun art. Comfortable beds. Foosball table was awesome. A bit warm in the summer for sure.
