We bought this cabin in 2022 from a very sweet couple. This has been a private retreat in the mountains, rarely used as a second home. We loved the somewhat private location of the cabin, and realized why not update it so other people can enjoy this well taken care of cabin? The views are stunning. The cabin-- cozy and homy. So I teamed up with my brother to begin our hospitality journey by starting Cabin Vista Grande. We'd love to hear about other people's stories!
Por que motivo escolheu este alojamento?
A cabin in the mountains. A cottage in front of the beach. A house in front of a lake. These all spell dreamy imagery for me. It's what my parents have always dreamed of, when they're allowed a break from their hectic work lives. But it remained that, a dream. Now that we can actually work and provide, me and my brother thought that it's our turn to take care of our folks, starting with an experience with our own cozy cabin in the mountains. And why not provide good family time for other people in the process? Getting older in life, I have put a premium with experiences with people we love---families and friends. Invest in people and memories.
Quais são os elementos especiais deste alojamento?
Who said you have to go out and enjoy the area? Cabin Vista Grande can be your vacation itself! Tired of the busy city life and just need to unwind with family or friends? Ever dreamed about waking in the morning, cup of coffee in hand, face brushed by fresh, mountain air, out in a sun deck? How about a hot tub out in the wrap around porch in the evening, unwinding after the day’s fun activities, good conversation with people actually you’d rather be with?
As we think life should be spent with people you love, we have a game room with a pub table, air hockey, an arcade game, and a selection of board games (pictionary and charades anyone?). We also have 5 smart TV’s in the house (one in each bedroom, the game room, and the living room). You just need to bring your own streaming account passwords and connect to our 50 mbps wifi–impressive in this mountain seclusion)!
We have a full sized kitchen with gorgeous granite countertops + necessary cooking ware for those wanting to bring in the fun of cooking with their vacation. I know that’s cool bonding time with my family!
Afterwards, you can talk about the day’s fun happenings and plan tomorrow’s activities in our beautiful living room with soaring ceilings and comfortable seating (and another TV).
Finally time for bed! Our property has 3 bedrooms, 2 king room, and a third room with bunkbed. Master bedroom has an oversized master bath with walk-in closet. With 2 full bathrooms and a one half bath, there is plenty of space for everyone to keep up with daily routines before exploring what the Smokies has to offer!
GETTING THERE:
This is a true MOUNTAIN cabin so you'd have to drive up some mountain roads to get to our cabin. While paved and accessible, we recommend a 4WD or AWD for winter weather when ice/snow are present. Once booked, we will provide a cabin guide which, along with an address to easily navigate , will provide a minimap to show you the best route to take up to the cabin.
As we think life should be spent with people you love, we have a game room with a pub table, air hockey, an arcade game, and a selection of board games (pictionary and charades anyone?).
