Spend fun-filled days by the surf then unwind in the secluded backyard hot tub. Admire a California sunset or peekaboo views of the Pacific from the top-floor balconies.

Highlights inside of this stunning three-story home include a spacious reverse floor plan, a game room, and a gourmet kitchen.

LIVING AREA

Vaulted ceilings soar above plush furnishings in the light-filled living area. Relax by a gas fireplace and watch the 65in smart TV. Serve beverages at the well-appointed wet bar with a wine fridge.

Group fun awaits in the game room, which includes both a billiards and ping-pong table. An impressive 65in 4K TV with a curved screen promises immersive movie screenings.

KITCHEN & DINING

Home chefs will love the modern kitchen, appointed with granite countertops. High-end stainless steel appliances include a six-burner gas range with double ovens.

Sip coffee at the two-seat kitchen bar, and share beach-inspired meals around the table for eight in the dining area.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps 10 guests in four bedrooms.

A stately king bed awaits in the tranquil master suite. A desk with a monitor creates a private office area. The en-suite boasts a double vanity, a deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a flat-screen TV. The second bath has a walk-in shower.

The third bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the fourth bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite with a walk-in shower.

Two twin-over-twin bunk beds are available for young children and offer additional sleep space in the kids playroom

The fourth bath has a walk-in shower, and a half bath provides additional convenience.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Tall fences, lush vegetation, and a sparkling hot tub create a private oasis in the backyard. Sunbathe on the private back deck. An outdoor shower is handy after fun-filled beach days.

Furnished with a plush seating area, the first balcony is an inviting perch above your peaceful neighborhood. Prepare tasty meals on a gas grill on the second balcony.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking for two cars are provided.

Extras include beach gear: body boards, beach toys, beach chairs, and a wagon.

This home is accessed via five stairs at the entryway. The property does not have air-conditioning. This rental strictly prohibits parties.

Parking is available for up to 3 cars in the driveway, and 1 car in the garage. Please do not attempt to park on the street, vehicles limited to driveway and garage.

THE LOCATION

Located 1.5 blocks from the beach, you can walk to the sand and waves in 4 minutes! Surf enthusiasts are within easy walking distance to Pleasure Point, Jack's or The Hook.

Stroll 10 minutes for amazing views at Cliff Beach. Walk 6 minutes to Portola Drive and discover cafes including Cat and Cloud Coffee and Verve Coffee Roasters as well as sweet treats at The Penny Ice Creamery.

Travel 4 miles to central Santa Cruz to explore the Museum of Natural History, play at the boardwalk amusement park, or snap photos on the wharf.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family beach vacation
The house was perfect for our extended family. This was the first time we have gathered together in one house and we were very happy with the number of rooms and bathrooms. The living space was very accommodating and the kitchen was large and well equipped for the meals we were making. We loved the ping pong and pool tables and the hot tub/back yard was a great asset. The back yard was nicer in person than the photos online. Plenty of parking and great access to the walk along east cliff as well as restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. More towels and bath mats would have been great. We had a little bit of trouble getting into the house at first but it all got straightened out. We hope to return next summer!

New Years Stay for 10
The house was awesome. Great kitchen - lots of space. Beautiful bedrooms - bunk room is amazing. Pool/PingPong tables were much appreciated with all the rain we had. Just a couple things worth mentioning: this house is 1 1/2 blocks from Pleasure Point which is amazing surf spot - but it is not really walkable to a beach. Closest beach is very short 4 minute drive. Also, this house is in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so there are lots of rules regarding noise and parking. We needed to double park one vehicle for a few minutes, and a neighbor asked us to move our car, as they said it blocked access to street parking for them. It was OK for us - but worth noting.

Terrific location and property... but beware
This is a very well appointed home in a terrific location blocks from the ocean with a nice layout for a family gathering. Regrettably there were several items that were not working during our stay (TV and entertainment systems and a persistent hammering plumbing noise when running water and flushing toilets). We later learned that the property recently had some repairs and renovations and we were the first guests following the work. When we contacted the host the first line response was excellent and we were assured someone familiar with the home would contact us. By the time we finally heard from someone we had already attempted all of the recommended fixes ourselves and there was little that could be done before our departure the following day. The office staff was apologetic and offered compensation which seemed like a reasonable solution although we would have preferred that the items had been working. Had the management company followed through this would be a 4.5 star review but the follow-up call that was promised has never come and our multiple follow up efforts have been ignored.

Perfect Beach Getaway!
Wow! What a home! Really enjoyed our stay here! The location was absolutely perfect. Just a short walk to pleasure point to watch the surf and just down the street from Cat&Cloud Coffee! Great children’s book for the littles and a beautiful porch to soak in the sun! The game room was a huge plus as well! I can go on and on! Definitely a repeat spot!
