. ISLA DEL SOL is a vacation destination. Great views of the Lake. Elevator just out side the door. Living and Master bedroom have vaulted ceilings. East fasing lake front deck. This is a gated community, the large pool area is fantastic, and there is a firepit, BBQ, and lots of room to enjoy the lake and swimming. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths there is room for your family. The living room has cable TV, the bedrooms have ROKU. There is FREE WIFI. There is also an air mattress if it is required. A 14 X 40 boat slip available for extra $'s. All trailer parking is off property PWC and boat trailers. This unit has all the comforts of home so you can enjoy your stay at the Lake.

Family getaway

Nice pool, good dock, property as described and the unit was clean, well stocked. The deck could'nt really be enjoyed as it was unclean, over run by spiders, old and new, and had no working ceiling fan. As mentioned in otger reviews, land access isn't easy. Expect 20 minutes to services.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was very clean, it had everything we needed. She also let us check in early, which was very nice. Would recommend for a family stay!

Great view of lake

This was a very nice unit, had everything we needed and what it didn't have Retha got for us. The only thing that needed attention was the porch, the fan didn't work and the porch needed cleaning.

A nice unit, but not most professional.

First impressions of coming into the unit were that it was not cleaned recently. Cob webs in multiple rooms and areas, couch had been patched together and covered with blankets where it was coming apart. Overall the rooms and bathrooms were nice, the areas not maintained were living room and kitchen. Wouldn’t stay at this one again, would try to find a different one. Location and complex were nice and pool was good, but this specific unit was lacking.

CONDO REVIEW

Condo was beautiful ,view of lake was perfect. Only complaint about condo they need more guest parking but the are upfront about that. It is the boat trailer parking that is the big problem. The condo came with a boat slip but it was a long walk the farthest dock from are condo when you can clearly see other open slips closer but that is not nearly as bad as the boat trailer getting TOWED from the lot we had clear directions by email and written in the condo when we arrived. We did not have a direct contact person to find out about where the trailer had been towed and had to look for it ourselves. Communication on line was very poor!

Nice quick getaway

We visit lake of the ozarks yearly to visit family and we needed a place close by to stay. We were familiar with the location of the property and thought it would be fun to stay there with kids. Just know that you will have to drive about 20 minutes to get to anything. We liked the condo unit it was nice and clean and had pretty much everything we needed. The kids liked the pool and the view from the balcony was great! I would say parking was the only issue we had 2 cars because my sister stayed with us and we had parking passes but the second car had to be parked pretty far off the property. If you only have 1 car you will be just fine. Being on the top floor it was nice we had an elevator but it was broke when we checked so had to carry all our bags down a few flights of steps. Also it would have been nice if there was a blow dryer in the condo. Over I liked the property and condo unit we would stay there again.

Beautiful area, needs work.

Parking is an absolute nightmare! We weren't left enough soap to wash dishes or wash our hands. Each container had just enough to cover the bottom. Bathroom toilet not seated and rocked when standing up or sitting down, it also ran all the time unless the back was opened and fixed often, THE COUCH HAD TWO SIZEABLE HOLES< ONE WITH A PATCH ON IT AND ONE WITH AN UNATTACHED PATCH SITTING ON THE HOLE. We had to clean the refrigerator and freezer before using. Tried to reach the owner after arriving and received reply the next day after I asked for a call. Spiders all over the outdoor porch, it was obviously not swept or kept up for quite some time.

Great view

Overall, codo was updated and the view was gorgeous. However, some things to consider… Roads were like riding a roller coaster to get there. Parking was terrible, only 1 car can park in parking lot and the other car had to park a mile away, which is not ideal when you have kids or groceries, while on vacation. House was clean however, I didn’t plan to clean while on vacation and I ended up having to fold towels from dryer and empty the dish washer. Propane was empty for grilling. The management credited me a small amount back for these inconveniences, which was very nice, but I would have preferred it to be better prepared. Overall it’s a comfy, nice condo, with a great view. Drive to restaurants and almost anything was a minimum of 20 min drive.

Great option

Great location, close to our boat rental and probably a little calmer then other locations. It's on a little gated island so if you want to be close to the action, this is not for you. If you want relative peace and quiet while still having everything accessable like we did, this is a great choice.

Great Condo

Very nice condo with beautiful views of the lake of the Ozarks. Clean condo. The condo had all the pots pans plates cups etc. that a family needs on a holiday weekend. Deck was a great place to watch all of the boat go by. Great place would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed our time. The property was very clean & well furnished. Its a bit of a drive to reach restaurants/night activities, but it’s manageable. Retha was very responsive and prompt with answers to questions or requested information.

If and when I got at least my $200 I will left another review message.

The apartment is beautiful, perfect outdoor area. But the communication between management and us was terrible, she forgot to tell us where was the permit parking or instructions about the car parking lot. and when our car was being towed, I call her and she said that the parking permit card was on the table and it wasn't. Then I was informed that customers do not have the right to parking without the tag. The experience of having the car towed was terrifying. You must review this place or you have to spend more $200 minimum at least. Be aware because you know we were “lucky” to seeing our car being towed. Imagine woke up and get the car keys and … no car around. Besides that, she canceled my first reservation Saturday through Monday. She only accepted when was Friday through Monday. Because she said was related to 4th of July. That’s a bummer because I lost my Friday and pay it for nobody got in. I only got there Saturday and seeing my car being towed few minutes later. Well, let’s see if I got my reimbursement of my car being towed at least! If and when I got at least my $200 I will left another review message.
