Bright and spacious lakeside cottage with firepit, hot tub and AC on Stoney Lake

The space
This cottage is a nature lovers dream! There is a king size bed in the master bedroom which has it's own ensuite with jacuzzi tub, plus a gas fireplace right in the bedroom. The three other bedrooms have a queen size bed, double bed and a twin bed. There are also laundry facilities on site. It has a large great room with a wood burning fireplace and a separate family room with a gas woodstove, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, stove and microwave. A Weber bbq is located right outside the cottage to handle all of your bbq needs.

Have you ever ended a long day in a hot tub soothed by warm water gazing at the stars? Now imagine that surrounded by beautiful pine trees and your own private patio! Nestled into the back of the cottage you'll find your own personal oasis. A small patio and hot tub area meets the edge of the forest, providing the perfect place to wind down with fresh air and experience the brightest stars the Kawarthas have to offer!

Explore the lake by canoe, kayak or SUP. Loons nesting right around the corner in the spring, deer wandering through the forest, osprey fishing in the lake are just some of the wildlife you can expect to see!

The cottage has a shallow, sandy walk-in area at the water and is approximately 4 feet deep at the end of the dock. The owner maintains the waterfront approximately 15 feet from the shore closest to the dock. The rest of the bay is silty and weedy, however that does not keep some guests and neighbours from swimming there. There is a flat rock in the next bay that local cottagers canoe and kayak to. There is great swimming there. Others wakeboard and water ski from the same spot.

There are two docks located at the cottage. One is a 16' wooden dock that is dedicated for guests of Lands End. The other (plastic EZ dock) is located at the edge of property on the other side of the cedar hedges and is for the sole use of the owners and their guests. We cottage on Fairy Lake Island and dock our boat there when we go into town.

There are also great hiking areas close by, or it is a great place to just cozy up with a good book, if that is you preference.

The cottage is located in a quiet and secluded bay and backs onto woods. There are great local restaurants to try, many on the lake if you don't feel like cooking.

This cottage is located only an hour from Bowmanville!

There is a large stable canoe with 2 built in seats and a live well that is perfect for exploring the area or fishing in. There is an additional canoe, a double kayak, as well as a stand up paddle board (SUP). There is a ladder ball game, giant sized four-in-a-row (similar to connect 4, giant jenga, crokinole, and cornhole! (There is also a basketball net for those who prefer land based activities
Other things to note
The cottage is located on a large flat, grassy lot that is perfect for outdoor activities. There is shallow entry into the lake. There is also great fishing right off the dock and in the surrounding areas!
