3BR/2.5 Bath in Pitchfork, pet friendly!

The Space:
This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home in the Pitchfork neighborhood of Mt. Crested Butte.  It is 1/2 a block to the shuttle route that runs to the base area of the mountain and you are within minutes of numerous biking and hiking trails.  This is a pet friendly property!


The house is set up as an upside down house which allow you to capitalize on the incredible views in our area from the living room.  On the bottom floor you will find a spacious garage, laundry room and the mudroom.  On the 2nd floor you will find the main living/dining/and kitchen.  The comfortable living room hosts a gas fireplace and flatscreen smart TV as well as a south facing balcony to enjoy your morning coffee.  The living room has ample space to spread out and relax.  The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dinnerware etc. and has an adjoining dining area that seats 8 around the dining room table and 3 at the bar top. You will also find a powder room on this floor.


On the 3rd floor you will find all 3 bedrooms.  The master bedroom has a king bed with ensuite bathroom with soaker tub and shower.  The 2nd bedroom offers a king bed and the 3rd bedroom offers 2 twins. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom share a full bath on this floor with a tub/shower combo. You will also find a pack n play for your use.  


There is a full sized laundry set on the ground floor as well as a mudroom for gear, jackets, and shoes.  A garage is available for storing bikes or parking a car inside.  This property has a gas grill. There is room for 2 cars on sight-one is the garage, and one in the driveway. HOA covenants do not allow street side parking so only 2 parking spaces are available.  Trailers and RV's cannot be parked in the Pitchfork subdivision.


Please note that on some of our marketing channels this property is showing up as having A/C.  It does NOT nor do any of our rentals.  Fortunately in the mountains our evening summer temps get into the 50's so simply by opening the windows you'll experience some lovely temps and nature made A/C.


This is a pet friendly property where 1 well behaved dog is allowed for an additional fee.  Any damage incurred by the pet will be the responsibility of the renter.  


NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED anywhere on the premises. Any evidence of smoke will incur fees as well.


Renters 25 years and older are welcome.

Parking and Vehicles. Parking of vehicles on a Lot is permitted only within Garages or designated parking spaces, except that vehicles may be parked temporarily in other areas as an expedience while loading and unloading. Personal property storage in each Garage shall be limited so as to enable the intended number of motor vehicles to be stored in each such Garage. No Persons shall park any vehicles on Outlot A, designated on the Plat, except Owners and Permitted Users of Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10. (4.6)


The following are absolutely prohibited from within the Common Interest Community and shall not be parked or stored on any street or Lot or in a Garage:


Motor homes, recreational vehicles, and campers except a camper mounted on a pickup;
All terrain vehicles (ATVs);
Trailers of any kind;
Snowmobiles;
Boats, except kayaks and inflatable rafts, which shall be stored inside or outside in the rear of the Lot if such storage is neat and not visible from any street;
Abandoned or inoperable vehicles of any kind. An abandoned or inoperable vehicle shall mean any vehicle which is not capable of being driven under its own propulsion or does not have current registration. (4.7)


An illegally parked vehicle is subject to towing and impounding in accordance with Town ordinances. Such action may be initiated by any Owner, resident or lessee without prior notice. Parking is expressly prohibited on any grass or landscaped area. Each parking space shall be maintained in a clean, safe and attractive condition and shall be kept free from litter and debris. No gasoline, gasohol, distillate, diesel, kerosene, naphtha, or other similar volatile combustible or explosive materials shall be stored in any parking area except in the fuel tanks of vehicles parked therein and used for transportation purposes. Owners, residents and lessees shall abide by all traffic laws within Pitchfork.

Check-in instructions to include lockbox or keypad code will be sent to you 2 days prior to your arrival at 4 pm MST

The Neighborhood:
The Pitchfork neighborhood is a nice mix of local and 2nd homeowners. There is a shuttle stop at the turnaround as you pull into the area and easily gotten to on foot from anywhere in the subdivision.

Getting Around:
Use the free shuttle that stops at the turnaround just as you enter Pitchfork to catch the free bus to the base area. From there you can catch another shuttle to the town of Crested Butte.

Peaceful Retreat on the Mountain
The property was delightful. It has an excellent ski room up front to drop gear after the day, and nice main floor with all of the essentials and three nice bedrooms upstairs. The management company is very communicative from 2 days before the trip through the stay. The shuttle is just feet from the door and comes twice each hour.

Cute place close by to everything!
We had a great stay here for our anniversary trip in Crested Butte. The location is great, tucked away while still being really close to town and the mountains. Easy to access. Tons of space. We had a few issues with filth on the bedding and a smell of cigarettes in the garage/first floor but overall a good stay!

Lovely house
We loved the house - it works well for a group and the convenience to both the mountain and the town is great. My only complaint is with VRBO. Once all the fees were tacked on, it was a ridiculous price.

Fabulous Place
What a wonderful house this is! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. The place is immaculate and like new with furnishings that felt like home. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. Having washer and dryer were an added bonus. Best of all, the hosts were so responsive in responding to questions and went above and beyond in getting us a porta crib.We were centrally located, just a short drive to downtown Crested Butte in a quiet residential area. We were there during a very warm spell but the house stayed nice and cool.

Great comfortable house!
This home had everything we needed. We did take our dogs and the yard for them to use was very small….plus you need to accompany them. The neighborhood was very cute and people were friendly. Great location and the bus to town was literally steps away!
