- Very high ceilings with lots of beautiful natural light

Starting March 2024, we're thrilled to introduce our latest offering - a serene wellness area now available for our guests in the garage! Take a moment to rejuvenate with our brand-new 2-person infrared sauna and a selection of fitness essentials, including meditation benches, yoga mats, foam rollers, resistance bands, and more. To ensure your safety and enjoyment, guests must complete a liability waiver before utilizing the equipment.

Folding high-chair and Pack ’n Play/travel crib available on request. Let us know if you need one and we will have it delivered after check-in.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home and the driveway to park. There will be no one else on the property, other than the weekly gardener and pool man, unless otherwise discussed with you in advance.

All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team is the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one!

The Neighborhood:
The Palm Springs community is a vibrant place to enjoy all that the area has to offer. There is a great downtown area, full of restaurants and shopping, and the city of Palm Springs is investing heavily to become a top tier destination for travelers.

Tahquitz River Estates: The neighborhood was first fashioned in the early 1930s to build small Spanish Revival homes. Now, thanks to earthmovers and a bridge, the neighborhood has expanded to incorporate many modernist homes, quirky motor courts, hotels by noted architects Howard Lapham and Hugh Kaptur, an Albert Frey-designed church and what may Palm Springs first modernist residence – a home dating to 1933 by architect William Gray Powell.

Getting Around:
Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you’re an explorer, we recommend a car.

If you’re the type that wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well.

Other Things to Note:
Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience.

Instant Book is turned off for all of our homes at Open Air Homes. This is a conscious decision in order to be a positive change for the short term rental industry, We encourage guests to send us a respectful note and provide us a little bit of background about your group before booking, and then we will take this to the owner for approval. We believe that mutual respect is key to ensuring that this industry can thrive. Open Air Homes strives to complete bookings in less than 4 business hours, so feel free to enquire and we will be in touch right away.

Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!

At Open Air Homes, we strive to give you such a great experience, that you will consider us for Property Management if and when you buy. Our goal is to provide unforgettable, relaxing vacations to our guests, and we aim to take care of all of the needs of this property before you step foot in the home.

This property has a private pool and spa that can be heated during your stay. The nightly rate for this option is $75 to heat to a standard temperature of 82 degrees. It is an additional $30/day to heat to 85 degrees and an additional $75/day to heat to 90 degrees. This is billed separately and must be confirmed and paid prior to arrival. Please let us know at the time of booking if you choose this option. *Minimum 2-days of heat required **Please note, the pool and spa cannot be heated at the same time and heat will transfer between one system or the other based on guest preference

PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet plus tax. For 30+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet plus tax. Damages and/or failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional charges at check out.

There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Any items not returned within this window are subject to payment of replacement costs.

** The home located behind this property is currently undergoing renovations and some construction noise might be present during your time in the home. No refunds, price reductions, or compensation will be granted due to neighboring construction.**

Property gorgeous
The property is gorgeous. However, not clean. The pool was dirty and dusting all over the backyard. You can tell no one washed it down. The fact that they don’t even have a number to contact management. It’s only email and text messaging. Additionally bugs inside the house and even spiders in bedsheets. The cooking oil had tiny mosquitoes it was disgusting. Pots and pans not washed properly. Please make sure to read contract before signing. Very deceiving especially the fact that I declined insurance, but was charged. I can go on, but I’m sure you get the point. This was a family vacation.

Great Property close to Everything
Stayed here with another family in January. The house is lovely, lots of room, all bedrooms nice sized and well appointed, and 2 hot tubs plus a nice pool. Also great location, you can walk into downtown or the other direction toward Ace Hotel. Highly recommend!

Spacious home with great pool and spa
The Ocotillo home was great; convenient location to downtown and great neighborhood. The home was spacious and the kitchen was awesome. The pool and spa were great, as were the outdoor seating areas. Would definitely recommend!
