Built in 1915, this quaint historic El Paso home surprises you with its modern updates and decor. The location could not be more convenient as it is steps away from the bus stop, one block from BCycle Bike Share rental, and 4 blocks from UTEP. Take a 10-minute stroll to Southwestern University Park to catch a baseball game or a 5-minute drive to all downtown El Paso has to offer including great food, art, parks, and nightlife. Only 1 parking pass available.

Turnkey STRs Security Deposit Waiver

Once you purchase a Turnkey STR Security Deposit Waiver, then the following terms and conditions are now part of your vacation rental property lease agreement.

I. AGREEMENT

A. On behalf of Turnkey El Paso, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner, lessor, of manager of the vacation rental property, they has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives your security deposit up to $1,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

B. Turnkey STRs is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Turnkey STRs will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $1,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

C. This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II.EXCLUSIONS

A. This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

Acts of God
Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear
Theft without a valid police report if over $250
Loss of use of the vacation rental property
Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
Damage to a motorized vehicle
Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

A. Turnkey STRs has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

B. Turnkey STRs reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

C. This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

D. This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

E. This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Turnkey STRs by You, the property manager, or the cleaning crew within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

F. Turnkey STRs will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

G. If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

Downtown El Paso is a great stop for food, drinks, and shopping and it's a 5 minute UBER ride.. Try Anson 11 for a great cocktail or Dead Beach Brewery if craft beer is more your thing. Cafe Central is the place to go for an upscale meal or if you need some authentic Mexican food, Los Colorines is your next stop. Need a coffee joint in the morning - try out the Coffee Box which is found inside some old train cars! And when you're full, you can always catch a show at the Plaza Theatre!
Parking is limited to one vehicle with use of a visitor pass that will be left for you on the tv stand in the living room. Please return the visitor pass before you checkout. There will be a $50 if the parking pass is not returned. You will have access to all of Unit 1 as well as the common space in the back of the house for the use of the laundry room. Please feel free to use the front porch sitting area or the back yard.
When you walk in, you'll be greeted in the foyer with a welcome kit that includes all of your necessities (restaurants, tourist locations, parking pass, important numbers, etc.). Unit 1 will be to your right and your home for the duration of your stay. Enter your large living room with a lounging couch, oversized armchair, and a 55" smart TV equipped with Netflix. Then walk into the bedroom through the french doors where a queen-size bed awaits. Just around the corner, you'll find a personal office for your work away from home needs. The original built-in closet has all the linens and toiletries that you will need just around the modern, updated bathroom.

Through the next door, you'll find a quaint kitchen with all the modern amenities including a Keurig and a microwave. It also has all the kitchen utensils you'll need for a home-cooked meal.

The back door of your unit then leads to the common area which has your full-sized front loading washer and dryer. The other common areas include a large front porch with a table and two chairs (smokers allowed outside only) and the quaint back yard which is great to catch the famous Texas sunsets.
Sun City Metro has a stop directly outside this home which can't make it much easier. Just one block north at Mundy Park you'll find the bike share rentals "BCycle". Just swipe your card and take a bike - it's only about ten minutes to downtown. UTEP is four blocks away from the house and Circle K is just one block west if you need those last minute items. Uber and Lyft are always a quick option to and from the house and all the essentials are pretty close. Or once you get downtown, you can try the newly renovated El Paso Retro Streetcars which is a great, free (on the weekends) way to see and travel downtown!

Dirty, Retaliatory, Time Consuming, and Unprofessional
This was a last minute booking, despite the previous reviews complaining of cleanliness issues, bc my travel plans were delayed and my original booking wasn't available. -extremely dusty, as if they've never cleaned out their vents, woke up sick as after just one night here, couldn't stop sneezing, and by the end of the first day I had a full blown sinus infection. -missing odd things, like forks, and other weird things. They did quickly replace these things as I reported it. -**couch had these white, serum looking stains all over it. It looked like bodily fluids.** I told them. They offered to clean. I explained that I didn't have time to be there for a cleaning, & I wasn't comfortable having cleaners there when I'm not there. Plus, we came to get my dog healthcare in Mexico and he is really freaked out by loud noises.Couch cleanings are usually very loud, the couch is wet for days, and it would be too time consuming. After I told them this they just apologized and said they're doing the best they can.I came up with a solution, bc after several email exchanges where all they had to offer was platitudes, it was evident that they couldn't care less.I requested couch cushions that had a sanitary barrier (eg plastic), they brought thin cloth that covered part of the couch only. -dryer stopped working, spent over 20min cleaning out the lint.I became frustrated but still appropriate, and they complained to vrbo literally saying I was increasingly frustrated (no duh, wonder why)

First time to El Paso, I liked the area, and the floor plan of the unit. It is a cute unit, but there were very few electrical outlets, and the shower cutain, as well as the pots and pans are old and dirty.
