Welcome to our cozy summer home that we're excited to share with you and your family. With its central location near downtown, our home is the perfect base for exploring all of Santa Barbara.

Sorry, no pets are allowed. This is a child friendly home. No smoking, vaping, drugs, guns, or parties of any kind are allowed.

For your peace of mind, we insist that all guests purchase travel insurance.

-both bedrooms feature luxurious linens, blackout curtains, portable heaters, and luggage racks

The 2 Bathrooms:
-the guest bathroom features a tub/shower combo
-the primary bedroom ensuite has a large walk-in shower
-plush, hotel quality towels
-eco-friendly and sustainable Public Goods toiletries

The Garage (accessed outside via the side of the home):
-laundry amenities: full-sized washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board
-beach amenities - a small cooler, boogie boards, folding chairs, and beach toys (items may vary)
-note: the garage is being used for storage, so it cannot be used for parking

The Front Courtyard:
-a comfortable couch with seating for 4

The Back Patio:
-café style table with seating for 2
-Weber Q100 propane grill (Please note that guests must bring and dispose of their own 16 oz camping size propane cylinders. These can be purchased at any major grocery store. A full-size propane tank adapter is not available.)

Parking
While there is a single, steep parking spot on the driveway (suitable for a small car only), there is ample free street parking available. Guests should pay attention to the street cleaning signs (Wednesdays or Thursdays depending on the side of the street). The garage is being used for storage and cannot be used for parking. We do not have an EV charger (and do not allow plug in charging), but there is a Tesla Supercharger Station just 3 miles away.

Amazing location and experience

We are a family of four with two college kids. It was a get away for my hubby to show us his Alma Mater. The location was perfect…. Walkable to downtown, great hiking nearby, able to walk to/from Trader Joe’s. The house itself is sooooo nice. We had everything we needed, including twin beds vs one bed for our adult kids to sleep in. Every detail was well thought of…. The linens were nice. The shampoo and conditioner were nice. The dishes available and pots and pans, coffee, tea…. All very thoughtful and nice. Last, communication with the owner was fantastic. Just know that although street parking is plentiful, it is hard to get close parking.

Comfortable & Convenient

This compact house has everything you need. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans. Downtown is a short walk away & access to 101 is easy.

Quaint & as Expected

Nemo was a fantastic host and the home was just as expected! The house is small but well thought out and has everything you would possibly need. We were a family of 4 (incl. 2 small kids) and it worked out well to have one room with the singles for our toddler and the 'master' for us and our newborn. The house was close enough to walk to a mini mart and the Public Market, and for a longer stroll into downtown. It is also conveniently located near the highway so getting around town was a breeze. Definitely recommend this home!

Exactly what we were looking for!

This little cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway with our two small children. It’s small, but very nicely appointed. Everything is new and clean. The beds are comfortable. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains, which is essential traveling with two small children. Our kids loved the books and games stored in the house. The yard is small, just a narrow stretch with pavers. This wasn’t important to us because we were spending most of the day outside the house. The property is in a great location, very short drive from anything in SB. It’s on a somewhat busy street, but the tall gate creates privacy and there is little noise pollution. Nemo was communicative and responsive. We didn’t have any issues while we were there!

We are 1 mile from downtown Santa Barbara (State Steet) which has tons of foods and shops. We are also right near a highway exit, but you won't hear any highway noise.

We are kid friendly (although children need to be supervised at all times). If you have little ones, 2 sets of Munchkin dinnerware, an Ikea Antilop high chair, a Graco Pack N Play, and a EZ Trend Bouncer are available upon request. Children's books are always available.
