Just like home…

Property is absolutely stunning. I felt like I was a guest to the homeowner as opposed to living in a temp housing situation. There were throw blankets and pillows and anything that would just make you feel comfortable and at home. The house is full of charm, and has been impeccably updated. It’s in the cutest little town near Rochester. The owner was amazing, and communication was perfect.

Awesome experience

We were thrilled at how much we loved staying here and the overall experience. The host was outstanding and the home is wonderful. The only thing I would change, I wish we could have stayed longer. We are coming back again and you should defininely consider this option when traveling to the Rochester area.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful home and neighborhood!

I can’t even begin to say how thankful we are for having the opportunity to stay in this amazing house. It was everything we expected and more. There are three bedrooms upstairs with a very large bathroom; another bedroom/den in the main floor with a full bathroom; kitchen is completely remodeled; family room is cozy as can be and very large; house is equipped with everything you need and more including games, soaps, tons of candles; water; coffee; tons of towels; etc. This is the first time I stay in such a clean house where no detail and expense has been spared. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and special note and Brenda is such much more than a host! The neighborhood is delightful and walking to the village was easy and a short walk. Sufficient parking for two cars. I will definitely stay here again when going back to Rochester.

I love to be out and about exploring. There is so many great things about the city I live. A few of my favorite things is being so close to the FINGER LAKES WINE Region. Most of the Finger Lakes are a short 30-45 minute drive. I also love village living and being so close to the Canal.

Por que motivo escolheu este alojamento?

I purchased this home last April and lovingly renovated for 6 months. During the renovation, keeping the character was most important to me. This home was built in 1900 and is on the National Historic Registry. The property is filled with large windows with an abundance of natural light and very spacious! But my most favorite feature (and the reason I fell in love with this home) is the 2nd floor 3-season screened porch. Historically called a "sleeping porch", this space is a great way to start the day with a cup of coffee or end it with a glass of wine.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
This Pittsford house is located just minutes from the city of Rochester, Village of Fairport. Rochester has become home to so many great BREWERIES and DISTILLERIES that are must visits. I love living so close to the Erie Canal. The Canal host walkers, joggers and cyclists on a daily basis. Built about 1817, the original ERIE CANAL stretches from Albany to Buffalo. Everyday I begin with some self love and a walk on the canal and around the village.
If you're a GOLF LOVER, the Village Pittsford is nestled amongst Oak Hill CC, Locust Hill CC, Monroe Country Club, Country Club of Rochester, and The Links at Woodcliff, all within 5 minutes.
If you love to SKI, Bristol Mountain is a close 35 minutes, Hunt Hollow is 40 minutes and Swain is just about an hour drive.
