This 3-story historic gem in central Charlotte Amalie, built in the late 1700s, has long been a beacon of hospitality for global visitors. Modern travel features include a Smart TV, High-Speed Wifi, Charging Outlets, Memory Foam Beds, AC, Ceiling Fans, kitchen appliances and basic cooking setup. Suitable for solo travelers, small families, or friend vacations, providing a remodeled 200-year-old estate perfect for staycations, one-night stopovers & long-term getaways.

Over the centuries, it has been graced by royalty, explorers, adventurers, pirates, treasure hunters, and other world travelers, each adding their own unique stories to its rich tapestry. Notably, it served as the home of General Santa Anna, the President of Mexico, for an impressive eight years. As you step into Amalie Estate, you are not just entering a building but becoming a part of its enduring legacy.
This location is the ideal spot to walk around Charlotte Amalie and enjoy the Cosmopolitan atmosphere, brimming with Danish colonial architecture, duty-free shops, cafes, delicious restaurants, and cultural landmarks.

SAFETY FIRST:

We follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.

Here are a few highlights:

* We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
* We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and
we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
* We refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room
* We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
* We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning
guidelines
HOUSE RULES
1. All Communication must be through the chat feature on the app.
2. Due to a health hazard to the owners and others who manage this property, this property is not Pet Friendly. DO NOT bring any type of animal
3. Primary Guests must be 21 years of age or older to rent this property.
4. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. Any guest that has a will be asked to leave without a refund. ANY Parties will result in a minimum fine of $500.
5. Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed on the property including Vapes, Marijuana, and Tobacco. Smoking will result in a $250 fine.
6. Quiet time from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am (even on weekends, no loud music or any loud noise during quiet time)
7. Checkout is at 10:00 am. Check-In Time 3:00 PM
8. There is a lost key fee of $50 for any key that's lost and not recoverable.
9. No Refunds on reservations canceled due to a violation of our House Rules

REPAIRS:
We do our best to provide each guest with the best vacation experience possible. However, just like in your home back home, sometimes issues might occur that require attention. Some issues do not interrupt nor disturb your stay and can be dealt with once your vacation is over. Other issues will require immediate attention and must be reported as soon as they occur.

The time to report them is NOT upon or after checkout of a multiple-night stay as there will be no compensation in those instances because we will consider them livable according to your standards. If you are experiencing a stay-altering issue with the property, we will get you moved to a different location immediately. Clear and Concise Communication is paramount.

Checkout Instructions:

Thank you for staying at our Vacation Rental.
Before you go, we have a few things we ask you to do:

1. When you leave, lock the door and return the key to the lockbox. Don't forget to scramble the code and close the cover to help us protect the box.

2. The checkout time is at 10 AM. Please be courteous and be out by then so housekeeping can get started.

3. Be sure to check under the bed for any belongings you might have left behind, and log out of your Netflix or any other streaming services you may have used.

4. Turn off all overhead lights and set the A/C thermostat to 77 degree

5. Make sure all the windows are shut
