Blue Sky Chalet - Bright and Open

Welcome to Blue Sky Chalet! Located in our private mountain community with aspen groves, evergreens and mountain views, this luxury mountain contemporary home has everything you need for a perfect getaway to Summit County, Colorado's playground! This four-bedroom house sits on a half-acre lot that backs up to the White River National Forest. The back patio, with outdoor fireplace, has seating for at least five adults and looks out on an aspen grove. Through the trees you can see the mountains, including “Mount Silverthorne,” that stand watch over the town of Silverthorne.  At night you can enjoy the brilliant stars of our dark sky community while roasting marshmallows over the fire. Enter the house through sliding glass doors into an open floor plan that includes living room, dining area, and kitchen.  You’re never separated from the action, whether you’re watching TV, cooking up a feast, or enjoying appetizers at the dining table that can seat up to ten people. Spend your mornings with your coffee in front of the beautiful stone fireplace while taking in the views from the large windows which surround you. The ceiling peaks at nineteen feet, and the exposed beams, natural hues, and high-end finishes give you a peaceful feeling of warm elegance. Then, out you go to enjoy all the outdoor activities Summit County has to offer. There are trails within the community and many others within a short drive. Skiing and snow shoeing in the winter, and hiking, mountain and road biking in the summer are just some of the adventures that await. Shopping and restaurants are within minutes. The Space: The open floor plan for the living room, gourmet kitchen, and dining room allows for easy conversations for all in the great room, not to mention sharing the incredible smells from the chef's selections. Down the hall, two bedrooms are tucked away. The primary king bedroom en suite has amazing views down the valley and the adjacent king bedroom is also an en suite with private bathroom. The grand staircase leads you to the lower level where you will find another living room with a large TV and two more bedrooms. One room is an inviting queen bedroom and the other "bunk room"  has two comfy queen beds on the bottom and two full size bunk bunk beds on top. These rooms have a shared bathroom. The perfect layout for families! After dinner, head outside on the patio adjacent to the upper great room for a cocktail next to the outdoor fireplace and take in the brilliant stars of our dark sky community. You will make memories to recall for years to come in this amazing home!!

Guests of Summit Sky Ranch Rentals have access to a variety of Summit Sky Ranch amenities including the private hiking trails, private fishing waters, the Aspen House, and our Lake House. The Aspen House amenities include: an outdoor heated pool, two hot tubs, a fitness center, a wellness room, a Ping-Pong table, a community gathering area with local tap beer and wine available, and an outdoor fire pit complete with roasting sticks. The Lake House amenities include a fire pit, two grills, and two hot tubs nestled right on the spring-fed Lake Everist, perfect for fishing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding.

Outside of the amenities available to you at Summit Sky Ranch, you can also enjoy several top ski resorts a short distance away, cross-country skiing with free groomed trails, sledding, snowshoeing trails, ice skating, mountain biking trails, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing on Lake Dillon. There are also some fine shops and restaurants in Silverthorne, Frisco, Breckenridge, Keystone and Dillon waiting for you to explore.

We recommend a rental car, with AWD during the winter.

Our community is still a new and growing development so you may see construction traffic on occasion.

Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made as of the reservation date listed on the Website (the “Date of this Agreement”), by and among Guest, Owner and SSR (as those terms are defined below).

Short Term Rental Agreement

This Short Term Rental Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made as of the reservation date listed on the Website (the “Date of this Agreement”), by and among Guest, Owner and SSR (as those terms are defined below).

Rectials

Owner (“Owner”) owns the home (the “Property”) located at the address listed on the short-term rental reservation website VRBO, HomeToGo, G Travel, or Airbnb (the “Reservation Website”).
Owner engaged Summit Sky Ranch Homeowners Association, Inc., a Colorado nonprofit corporation (“SSR”), to manage the Property and SSR has used the Reservation Website to rent the Property to potential guests.
Guest (“Guest”) made a reservation on the Reservation Website to occupy the Property for the period of days reserved on the Reservation Website and desires to enter into this Agreement with Owner and SSR, subject to the terms and conditions below.

Agreement

SSR rents the Property to Guest on behalf of Owner and Guest rents the Property from SSR on behalf of Owner, together with the nonexclusive access to and use of the amenities of Summit Sky Ranch, for use only as a residence, and subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The term “Guest’s Occupants” as used in this Agreement refers to Guest’s invitees, licensees or guests.

1. Property Rules. In addition to all rules, terms and conditions described in this Agreement and on the Reservation Website, Guest and Guest’s Occupants will comply with the rules applicable the Property or provided to Guest at or prior to the Guest’s check-in date on the Reservation Website. The parties agree that no tenancy is created by the execution of this Agreement.
2. Rental Period
This Agreement shall commence on the Date of this Agreement and shall expire on the check-out date (“Check-out Date”) set forth on the Reservation Website at 10 a.m. (the “Check-out Time”), unless terminated at an earlier date in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. Guest is required to check-in and check-out according to the procedures specific to the Property as provided on the Reservation Website.
Guest can request an early check-in/late check-out in advance. SSR may grant the request in its sole and absolute discretion. Entering and occupying the Property before the Check-In Time may result in additional charges and acceptance of the Property in its as-is condition. If Guest fails to follow the correct check-out procedures, SSR reserves the right to charge Guest additional fees to recover the cost from such failure, including one additional day of the Fee (defined in Section 4 below) plus all fees and taxes.
SSR will use commercially reasonable efforts to have the Property ready for occupancy by the Guest at Check-in Time.
Guest is responsible for the cost of replacement and for the costs of re-keying and/or replacement of locks in the event that any keys are lost, misplaced or not returned.
3. SSR Access to Property
SSR or SSR’s employees and agents shall have the right to enter the Property, during reasonable hours, to investigate disturbances, check occupancy, check for damage, to make such repairs, alterations or, at any time, in cases of emergencies, but SSR shall not unreasonably interfere with the quiet enjoyment of Guest and will provide to Guest advanced notice whenever possible.
4. Reservation Costs
Guest shall pay the rental fee (the “Fee”) and any security deposit amount (the “Security Deposit”) set forth and at the time designated on the Reservation Website to occupy the Property in accordance with the policies on the Reservation Website.
