Welcome to our charming one bedroom, one bathroom home in the heart of San Diego! This space is connected to the back of our duplex, but you'll have your own private entrance and outdoor area to enjoy as you please. We have a special connection to this space as it was our first home when we got married, and we know firsthand how convenient the location is for exploring all the amazing places San Diego has to offer.

The Space:
Enjoy this completely redone home with its own private outdoor space in the heart of San Diego; minutes from the Historical Gas Lamp District, beaches, the iconic Coronado island and bridge, Balboa park and more. The bright interior of the home features an open floor plan, central AC, large windows bringing in natural light and modern upgrades. The living area doubles as an additional sleeping area for parties of 4, and, is also a great spot to wind down and watch television or play board games. The kitchenette displays white cabinetry, quartz countertops, and all dish/glass/cookware needed to make your stay comfortable. Please note that there is NO stove/oven in this home. The updated bathroom flows into the cozy bedroom where you can escape for the evening and enjoy your own personal AC unit, if needed. Outside, you will discover a large entertaining space complete with tea lights, a fire pit, dining table, and turf to enjoy. Plus, enjoy easy access to hiking trails in Balboa park and more. The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is just on the outskirts of East Village and South Park; both great spots. We enjoy heading down to grab ramen at 'Tajima' or a pizza from 'Basic.' You are moments from Coronado which has our favorite morning munchies at Cafe 1134 or grab an Acai smoothie from Clayton's. Happy to provide more advice!

Other Things to Note:
As a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, I'd like to personally invite all Department of Defense Employees and other branches of the military to stay here.

Pet policy:
• We allow a maximum of two pets and charge a $45 fee per pet, per stay.
• Unfortunately, we do not allow cats at the property.
• No animals are allowed on the beds or any of the furniture.
• We recommend that if you leave the property, your pet either joins or stays in their crate.
• If there are any pet-related damages, you will be required to cover any repair or replacement costs.
• Please keep any barking or crying that will disturb neighbors to a minimum.
• Please do your best to clean up after your pet (hair, waste outside…) before check-out.
• We recommend bringing their own bed and food/water bowls.
