When you want to explore, spend the day in nature at Currituck National Wildlife Refuge, about 14 miles north, or head south around 20 miles for a dose of history at the Wright Brothers National Memorial. In between, you'll find miles of gorgeous beaches and the charming town of Duck, around 10 miles away. Closer to home, you've got access to a 7-acre stocked fishing lake.

But first, coffee - brew a pot and spend the morning relaxing on any of four comfortably furnished decks, then slip into the hot tub for a pre-breakfast soak if you're not quite ready to start the day. Inside, you'll find abundant natural light, cheerful coastal decor, and an open floor plan perfect for spending time together.
