Non commutators

The property is very clean and cozy, however there was a problem with the jetted tub, my husband tried to trouble shoot the problem and he thought it had probably just tripped a fuse, I messaged the property owner and told them that there were a lot of bugs coming out and they should get it sprayed for bugs just for future guest and also ask if the would mind coming over and flipping it and was told the fuse box was in the basement and was locked to keep guests from going down because the stairs were not safe and said they would stop by sometime on Tuesday......they never came. I texted several times with no response. Then we inadvertently left a shirt and tie and I messaged them again and told the we would be happy to pay for shipping with ZERO response. I usually do not leave bad reviews but this time I feel they could at least have the common courtesy to respond to at least one of my messages.

Great Home-Close to OSU Campus

We were in town for an OSU football game. We had a lovely stay. The location is about 15 minutes to campus depending on traffic. The house is cute and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great weekend.

Great little house, in quiet neighborhood

You can definitely tell the owners have been investing time and money into this property and it shows! Great older house with updates! The neighborhood is older, but very quiet and I would not consider it a "bad area" by any means! I would definitely stay here again!

Nice house and convenient location

I enjoyed my stay here, and the house was clean with comfortable beds and couch. Roku tv for entertainment, and short distance to downtown Columbus. Highly recommend.

Like your messy friends house.

First let me say the contact person/owner was nice and fairly good on her response time. As avid travelers we usually utilize hotels and resorts. Since my significant other was in the Ohio State NPC fitness competition, we needed a place with a full kitchen and fridge due to her very stringent diet. Her best friend from the area also came with us. We were my girlfriend's support team while she was busy at the gym and with her coach who lives in Columbus. From the drive up to the property you could tell that the yard and paved back area had the bare minimum maintenance done on it. There were weeds/grass growing through the pavers and the back patio table and sitting area had not been cleaned or even hosed down in a while. You have to enter through a enclosed back patio area with a slider door this patio area and floor needs to be finished. From the entrance and throughout the house there were hand prints and smudges everywhere including most of the light switches. The kitchen was barely cleaned at all and I was very disappointed in the appearance of the electric flattop stove and microwave which were filthy. The bathrooms were a problem for me. There was caked on grime on the wall switches and on the sides of the toilets and underneath the toilet seats. I had to clean them myself. I have photos to show. Next time I will ask the owner who and how it is cleaned.

Hi, My name is Julia and I've stayed at many vacation rental homes, but this is my first time hosting others. I've always wanted to be that welcoming person for others coming to visit. I'm originally from Minnesota and I've lived and traveled all over. I enjoy hiking, traveling, exploring different cuisines, spending time with friends and family, and expanding my never-ending list of hobbies.

Valleyview is a charming, quaint neighborhood that I discovered with my boyfriend years ago and I fell in love; so much so, I live just down the street. It is sandwiched between the busy-ness of the city, yet remains a calm, quiet place. You are truly in the heart of everything yet have a space to relax and unwind.

Quais são os elementos especiais deste alojamento?

This house is spacious and full of natural light from the many windows. The kitchen is huge and a cooker's or baker's dream to work in. There are basic cookware essentials, however, if you are interested in doing more, I can possibly help provide more as I live just down the street and would love to see the kitchen being used. Although, I don't want large events being hosted here, the parking space and open concept make a great option for hosting a small gathering of close friends or family (up to 12).
