Worst Vacation Experience | Property Not As Represented
Several days before arriving, I messaged Vivian, Property Manager, because I had seen a post from another person who had stayed at this property. He posted that there were NOT 5 queen-sized beds. I specifically asked her about this. She assured me that there were 5 queen-sized beds at this property. As soon as I entered the property, I started taking pictures: stained sofa, trash and food items under cushion. Silverware: 8 dinner plates, 7 small plates, 5 bowls; 2 skillets, 2 pots. THERE WERE NOT 5 queen-sized beds: 3 queen-sized (60”x82”), one double/full (54”x76”), and one folding cot (35”x75”). Of course, I measured each bed and took photos. I think this Property Manager misrepresented this property. Electrical system does not meet safety standards because we could not get air-conditioning systems working, i.e., some blew hot air, 2 did not work at all, 1 was leaking water, and the only one which worked was in dining area. Remotes not located to reflect each air-conditioning system, some needed batteries. Had to consistently reset breaker to get air-conditioning working but within a couple of hours it would go down again. When I messaged Vivian, she never responded. I had to call her. She had no idea what property I was speaking about even after I provided Reservation ID. She asked me to take photos of air-conditioning units so that she could forward this to her maintenance personnel. There is so much more but not enough space for me to go into the other failures.
