This renovated creole cottage with guest suites was built in 1833 and is located in the famous Treme neighborhood. Once used as a brothel and musician hang out during the birth of jazz, it’s an unforgettable experience. Only 3 blocks from the French Quarter, it’s a close walk to both local favorites and visitor must-sees! Lounge next to our heated pool in the large backyard or check out the many guided tours offered in this significant neighborhood.
The Space:
This house has three structures, including a main house and two guest suites. There is an Innkeeper suite on the property that is separate from the main house and two guest homes included in your reservation.
Please note this stay is a light touch experience and does not include breakfast or other amenities typically included in a bed & breakfast.

Guest Access:
The entire estate, outside of the Innkeeper’s suite, is reserved for guest use.
*Please note that although an Innkeeper is onsite for all reservations, guests will have exclusive use to the amenities described above
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located steps from the French Quarter in the historic and culturally vibrant Treme, just blocks from North Rampart Street. This is a safe, friendly, and laid-back area. For those interested in experiencing the gastronomy of the city, some of the best bars, restaurants, and cafes in the country are located in our immediate neighborhood. We are also within walking distance to the African American Museum, St. Augustine Church, Louis Armstrong Park, and other notable sites in NOLA.
All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting Around:
Our home is located directly next to the French Quarter, which makes getting around convenient and easy. We are a ~5 minute walk to the edge of the French Quarter, and a 15 minute walk to Frenchmen Street. The Marigny/Bywater is also reachable by walking, biking, or Uber/Lyft.
Other Things to Note:
Each unit is professionally cleaned and sanitized using properly rated disinfectant for COVID-19, as outlined by the WHO.
Reservation holder must be over 21 years of age.
NOTE: This listing has an additional Agreement that applies to all guests staying at the Premises. As part of the booking process, Guest(s) will be required to complete a guest verification process prior to receiving any check-in information pertaining to the Premises. The booking Guest will be required to provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only. Guest(s) will be required to review and sign an Agreement with the Host. Cash App or any pre-paid debit cards are not acceptable methods of payment. Please also refer to Schedule A in the Agreement between Guest and Host for a table of fees assessed for violating terms of the Agreement or Policies outlined therein. This is not a pet friendly property. Mailing packages to the Premises is not permitted. We use Arlo and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.

You will have complete privacy here, however every question or concern you may have before or during your stay will be promptly addressed via messenger or phone. In the case of a maintenance emergency, our ground team is available to assist you. Entry is keyless; there’s no need to coordinate key pick up.
