Come stay at the Dupzyk cabin and experience a unique old-time cabin, with some modernization.
This property features a private boat dock capable of accommodating multiple boats or other watercraft and, unlike most docks in the area, can be in the water year round. The house can accommodate 12+ people with three private bedrooms, a futon, and three bunk beds (six beds). This property has two bathrooms; one with a shower, the other with a vintage clawfoot bathtub.
The lake side of the cabin features a large deck with two large tables for dining and beautiful sunset views and overhead string lights.
The kitchen has recently been renovated to bring improved lighting and a refreshed look while still maintaining the rustic farmhouse/homestead quality of the property. Additionally, the box springs and bed platforms have recently been replaced in the three bedrooms.
The property has a propane heater and electric room heaters for the winter months and box fans for the warm summer months.
Fun facts:
This property features one, if not the only, giant sequoia tree on the lake. This tree was transplanted here from the mountains by the original owner of the property, circa 1940
Wild blackberries and gooseberries can be found on the property when in season
The Dupzyk cabin was built by a homesteader of Fresno Flats which is now known as Madera County. This property was built circa 1938 and later expanded in 1940.
The Fresno Flats historical society in Oakhurst has the barn from the Dupzyk homestead that was built in 1914.
