New Listing - Opened Memorial Day Weekend 2023! This extensively remodeled, comfortably appointed, ranch-style vacation cottage lies on the shore of Lower Scott Lake in rural Lee Township, Michigan. Morningside Vista has 2 king bedrooms and 1 queen bedroom plus 2 full bathrooms. The living space has a flowing, open floor plan with a combined kitchen/dining area that moves into the upswept picture-windowed living and lounge areas. Relax and enjoy some of your favorite classic movies on our 55" HD satellite-connected TV or pop a DVD into the player and enjoy your favorite movie. Play a few hands of cards or a board game, or put together some craft projects with your besties around the smaller sun-soaked table in front of the huge windows overlooking the backyard. Relax and enjoy drinks or your favorite meal with friends on the back deck.

Use of our two (2) kayaks is free with this home. We also offer reasonably-priced kayak rental, by the day ($25/day) or week; advance reservation & pre-payment are required; a $100 minimum rental applies.

The Neighborhood:
Morningside Vista Lake House is one of our lakeside cottages located in the Scott Lakes area of Lee Township in rural Allegan County, Michigan. This peaceful small town is the perfect place for folks who are looking to get away from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with family, friends, or even co-workers.

Summer brings the fun of boating, swimming, picnicking, or just relaxing by the water. The autumn colors are spectacular around the lake or in the orchards and vineyards found all over our area. Enjoy some local winter sports like skiing, sledding, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. Spring explodes with fresh colors from the flowers and leaves bursting into new life, invigorating your soul and mind after the long, barren winter.

Our homes are 10-15 minutes away from Crane's Orchards and Dutch Farms, famous for delicious pies and fruit picking. On the way to the orchards is the Fennville Winery, offering tours and wine tastings. If you like antiquing, it does not get better than this. There are many antique stores within 20 minutes: in South Haven, Allegan, Douglas, and Saugatuck, or just a pleasant drive along Blue Star Highway. In the summer dune rides are a blast and the South Haven beaches are gorgeous. Go pick cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and apples in nearby orchards. Art galleries in the area offer a wonderful selection to take home as souvenirs. Take your own kayaks to different lakes and rivers, but don't forget your paddles and life jackets!

Lower Scott Lake is only 15 minutes from downtown South Haven or Saugatuck and just 25 minutes from Holland.

Getting Around:
You will definitely need a car to see all that southwest Michigan has to offer.

Note: We Do Not Offer Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging & Attempting To Do So Will Overload/Damage Our Electrical System. Violators Will Automatically Be Charged A $400.00 Fine Plus Applicable Damages.

Cellular pocket Wi-Fi is provided by AT&T, the best area internet service provider. They only offer limited speeds so more than a few connected devices at a time will cause lag. We provide satellite TV since video streaming (e.g., Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.) is not an option.

House Rules: Loud Parties With Excessive Alcohol/Drug Use Are Not Allowed. All Drinking Games Are Strictly Prohibited. We Ask That Nothing Be Stuck To Our Walls Since This Will Damage The Paint. Use of Tinsel, Glitter, Confetti, Feathers, Etc. is Not Welcomed Since They Leave A Mess That Is Hard & Time-Consuming for Our Very Small Staff To Clean Up. Note: If You Have A Wild Party, We Will Contact The Police & Have You Removed From Our Property.

Township-Mandated Quiet Hours Are 10 PM-8 AM Daily.

No EV Charging, Fireworks, Smoking, Vaping, Marijuana Use, or Pets/Animals. No Exceptions.
