The town of Kanab is situated in the heart of Utah's backcountry close to the Arizona border, offering explorers the opportunity to reconnect with nature. There are several trails within walking distance of this beautiful 3-bedroom home, including Tom's Canyon, Cliff's Trail, Squaw Trail, and K Hill Trail. They are all beautiful and fun trails that showcase Kanab's red rock country! You will be pleased to discover that Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Toadstool Hoodoos, Buckskin Gulch, and Coral Pink San Dunes are all within a days trip from our lovely home!
Red Rock Retreat is located in the exclusive La Estancia community. Red Rock Retreat is large enough to host both friends and family up to 8 guests. There are 3 bedrooms and a Queen sleeper sofa in the second sitting area. The open-plan living area is great for interacting with others while preparing a delicious meal in the well-stocked kitchen. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace while relaxing in a beautifully decorated living room. The home is prepared for comfort in all seasons as it does have both central heating and air-conditioning.
Among the amenities available to you is the clubhouse which includes a kitchen, living room, exercise room, pool table, and large tv. Inside the clubhouse is a heated pool and Jacuzzi. There is also an outdoor pool (open in the summer months) and a children's playground.
Master suite
This tastefully decorated main suite is located away from the other guest for privacy. Includes cozy King Bed and stylish sitting area, a perfect place where you can enjoy a drink and see the stunning red mountains or night sky full of stars. This suite also includes a Smart TV and direct access to the back patio.
The suite is connected to the bathroom that has a double sink, garden tub, separate walk-in shower and a large walk-in closet.
Second bedroom
The Second bedroom accentuates a comfortable queen bed and ample storage space in the closet including a luggage rack for unpacking your things.
Third bedroom
The Third bedroom features a relaxing queen bed, and large closet with luggage rack. It also has a computer desk and a monitor. A perfect solution to accommodate travel for business purposes!
The guest bathroom is located across the hall and Both bathrooms come stocked with all the essentials: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, towels, and a hairdryer.
The kitchen and dining area
This beautifully appointed kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a refrigerator with filtered water and ice, full-size oven and cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and a large counter with added seating for 4. There is also a dining table for 4. Comes stocked with essentials including coffee maker, toaster oven, pots, pans, blender, serving dishes, utensils, spices, and more. You also get direct access to the backyard where you can entertain, grill or just sit and enjoy the sunrise.
While we want you to enjoy your vacation with your furry friend, we also want to protect our property and provide an optimal experience for the future guests! Please note the following rules:
1. Pets are not allowed on any beds, couches, or furniture. Otherwise there may be additional cleaning fees added to your stay.
2. If you are leaving for the day to explore, they must accompany you. If your dog is kennel trained, they must stay kenneled while you are gone. The dog may not be left alone to roam the house while you are gone. Please remember to dispose of any pet waste around the yard before your departure. Not doing so will result in cleanup fee of $75.
3. Pets must be on leash while outside the home as the fence is not fully enclosed.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate pets participating in Best Friends "sleepover" program.
Pet damages will also incur additional fees to guests for replacement or repair costs and will be assessed by the host on a case by case basis.

Red Rock Retreat is conveniently located close to Kanab's Main Street where guests can enjoy an evening stroll to get dinner, shop in local boutiques, or enjoy the fresh air. Hwy 89 is less than two miles from the house providing access to all the local parks and attractions. Page, AZ airport is 75 miles, St. George airport is 87 miles away.
Rules
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE VERY STRICT CC&R's ESTABLISHED IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD. IF RULES ARE BROKEN, THERE WILL BE A DAILY FINE FOR EACH DAY THE RULES ARE NOT ABIDED BY. FINES CAN BE ANYWHERE BETWEEN $100- $500.
- Must be 25 years of age to book
- Quite hours 10 pm to 7 am
- No smoking on property or consuming Illegal substances of any kind.
- No moving furniture or appliances.
- Must obey house Occupancy Limits.
- Secure the home by locking all doors and windows anytime you leave the home

- Dogs under 40 LBS are accepted for $150 plus tax per pet fee. Maximum 1 dogs. No cats, or other animals permitted.
- No Garage access.
- Fireplace can be used. Duralog only which may be purchased from the local Market.
- Absolutely NO parties or events are to be held.
- Tenants may NOT invite outside guests (friends or relatives not staying in the home) to use the common area facilities. Please be respectful of the neighbors who live in the community
- No parking is allowed on the streets. You must park in the driveway. No ATVs are to be parked in the driveway. If needed, please reach out to the host to access the garage
- You will need the electronic key fob to access the pool and Clubhouse. You will also need the key to access the indoor pool and hot tub. Both are on the blue placard.
- After use, please make sure to put the pool key back in its original place. If you lose the pool key, you will incur a $250 fee to replace it.
- Guest agrees to report any issues at home to Host immediately.
POOL Rules
• Children MUST be accompanied by an adult in the pool area AT ALL TIMES. Please be vigilant with the whereabouts of your children at all times.
• No alcohol, tobacco or drugs allowed in the pool area.
• Gatherings are not allowed. PLEASE RESPECT OUR HOME AND NEIGHBORS. Any reports to the police will not be tolerated. If the Police are contacted, we too are contacted. This will result in your stay being terminated with no refund. We want you to enjoy your stay and have a wonderful time in our home but do not want to put our home or neighbors at risk.
