Experience the peaceful side of Rockaway Beach at this serene, single-story home, where you'll stroll the shores of Lake Lytle each morning on your way to the ocean beach. This is a place for unwinding outside on the deck, whether you're sipping your morning coffee, barbecuing with a view of the garden, or simply listening to the relaxing sounds of the creek that runs behind the house.

This tranquil home is wonderfully removed from the heart of Rockaway Beach (one mile), yet it's still just a half-mile stroll from the beach itself. Here in the Manhattan Beach neighborhood, you'll be ideally placed for enjoying Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site (one mile), Manzanita (12 miles), and Oswald West State Park (13 miles) in addition to Rockaway's bustling shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlors.

Wake up each morning to watch deer pass through the yard and prepare your favorite breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen and dining area. At day's end, there's plenty to return home to - a washer/dryer for your swimsuits, a gas grill in the backyard, and board games to set up by the woodstove as you watch movies on VHS, DVD, or streaming. Of the bedrooms (both with TVs), one is a primary suite and one has a desk workspace where you can log onto the high-speed WiFi.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Security camera details: One camera points to the front door; one camera is on the side of the house. Audio is turned off.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
