This condo is perfect for business travelers, families and small groups looking to stay close to all the attractions of Traverse City, including wineries, craft breweries and restaurants. The condo can accommodate 6 guests (No Pets) and is easily accessible via an elevator from the basement garage level all the way up to your condo floor - no need to climb stairs. This condo is a single level with no interior stairs.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
This Traverse City condo boasts two bedrooms with flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 6 guests. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a queen-sized bed (sleeps 2 guests). Bedroom 2 features a trundle bed that can sleep 1 guest when used as a twin, or 2 guests when pulled out into a large double bed. Two twin rollaway beds are available for set up in the open concept living/dining area. If you’re traveling with a young one, you’ll find a Pack and Play crib and a highchair in the closet. The condo has one full bathroom featuring a standup shower and high quality amenities. We have furnished everything you may need for a stay away from home.

☆☆ KITCHEN ☆☆
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook up tasty meals, including new stainless-steel appliances and a coffee station with an assortment of coffee and tea. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary utensils, glassware, dinnerware and pantry essentials. A crockpot and blender are available for use in our common library area. We also supply kids' bowls, utensils, and a highchair for young families.

Just across from the kitchen and dining area is the cozy living room with large picture windows to enjoy the view, plush furnishings to sit and relax, and a flat-screen Smart TV equipped with HULU live cable channels, Netflix, and Disney+ for your own logins. If you’re looking for some family fun or a group activity, check out our collection of board games, kids' toys and books.

LAUNDRY: Staying longer than a couple of days? Check out our laundry facility conveniently located on your floor and available for your use anytime. An Iron, Ironing board and vacuum are also provided in the laundry room.

WELLNESS GYM: Craving a work-out away from home? Check out our gym located on your floor in the hallway near the Roost patio. Use your building key-fob for access.

Other things to note

Parking on-site and in the downtown Traverse area is very limited. Parking options for your stay include:

Onsite Metered Parking: Free overnight parking is available from 6pm-8am in the basement garage. Signage states no overnight parking, please ignore as it is not monitored between 6pm-8am; however meters are promptly checked at 8am. 3-hour metered parking is available in the garage Mon-Sat 8am-6pm with payment via coin or ParkMobile, an easy and convenient automated parking system that allows visitors to pay for their parking via mobile app on their smartphones, the internet, or a toll free number.

Free Street Parking: Open street parking is available on Boardman Ave., Webster St., Washington St., Wellington St. and surrounding neighborhood streets. The City does not allow overnight parking from November 16 through April 14 of each year; please follow street signage. The Governmental Building parking lot on Boardman Ave. across the street has free parking on the weekends, but is paid parking during the week.

Paid Garage Parking: Old Town Parking Garage is located 0.3 miles west of Common Grounds on the same street at 125 E. Eighth St; enforced Mon-Sat 8:00am-6:00pm for $1.25-$1.50/hour max $20.00 or monthly permit for $30.00. Hardy Parking Garage is located 0.4 miles north of Common Grounds at 303 E. State St; enforced Mon-Sat 8:00am-6:00pm for $1.25-$1.50/hour max $20.00 or monthly permit for $50.00.


Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $250 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days after check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially. There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.

Here are a few simple rules to guide your stay:

1. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR. Be friendly, use common sense and consideration of others, and leave common areas as you found them or better. Please note there are common areas and amenities available for guest use, subject to restrictions and guidelines provided by Commongrounds. Guests pay an amenity fee per guest per stay for access to the gym and other community facilities located onsite. If you use a board game or a lounge chair, please return to its home for the next guest to enjoy. If you see another guest or a neighbor, say hello and offer a friendly wave and smile. And when using common areas or resources, be mindful that others can hear you or may want to share use as well.

2. PARKING. Guest parking is available for free in a parking ramp located .3 miles away. Guests may pay to park nearby or onsite a public, metered parking.

3. NO SMOKING. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the premises, including marijuana, vaping, or other types of smoking.

4. QUIET HOURS. Guests are asked to be respectful of neighbors and quiet hours between 10pm-8am daily.

5. PETS. There are no pets allowed in the building. (This applies to birds with feathers, but please feel free to bring the bird in your soul along.)

Our son attends the maritime academy. The property is close to campus, close to downtown and easy to access. Loved the market downstairs. Parking is a challenge.
