Prepare to fall in love with Port A Hideaway! This beautifully updated vacation home is one of the originals from back when Port A was just a quiet fishing town. Read the history on the walls and go back in time while enjoying all of the updated modern conveniences. Welcome to Port A Hideaway! This Port Aransas vacation home offers 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms! This historic property was built in 1939 (think World War II period) and has become an icon in this town's history. And it is only a few blocks from the beach, making this the perfect location for any beachgoer!

Port A Hideaway has a split floor plan with 2 entrances. The 2 floors are NOT connected to the interior. This floor plan is great for groups or guests wanting more privacy.

As you arrive at Port A Hideaway, you'll enjoy plenty of parking, with boat parking allowed. You'll also have a fish cleaning station for guest use.

Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.

Those who stay downstairs in the main floor studio will enjoy a kitchenette, living space with a sleeper sofa, 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds, full laundry, a full bathroom, and an entrance to the private pool.

As you head upstairs (exterior only), you will walk up to a wrap-around deck where you can watch the sunrise and/or sunset. Enjoy outdoor dining with plenty of seating to feel the sea breeze. Enjoy the party lights outlining the deck for evenings.

This upstairs area offers 2 Queen Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, a spacious living room, a dining room, and a full kitchen. This upstairs also has a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Exit out the kitchen to a pool view!

Port A Hideaway offers guests one of Port A's best backyards and pools. Although the house provides plenty of history, it also offers a super modern backyard with more seating than you'll need, sun loungers, a large pool, and a fun mural to take insta-worthy pics to share with your fans and followers to prove you have stayed at one of the Port A originals!

Although rich in history, this property has been updated to provide modern conveniences while maintaining its historic charm. The three bedrooms offer comfortable sleeping arrangements, and the three bathrooms provide ample space for everyone to get ready for their day or night out.

Home Truths:
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
- Please note: Pool heat will not be available for the summer months (May - September).
This home has a split floor plan with two entrances. The two floors are not connected to the interior.
- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. Services can be intermittent on an island.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times yearly.
- Guests are responsible for refilling the propane grill as needed during their stay as well as supplying charcoal.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.

Parking Details:
- Space for up to 4 vehicles, including boats and golf carts.
- Boat parking allowed for a 25' fishing boat, but not to exceed the driveway.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff.

We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
