BEACHSIDE House - AWESOME 6 bedroom house!

This spacious house is a perfect spot for a big gathering. With 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms it has everything needed to make a great vacation! You can sleep 25 people in beds, the kitchen is fully stocked, there are large tvs throughout, convenient access to the private community beach & waterfront, and the location is ideal! The main level is open with high exposed ceilings and has two living areas, one with a kitchenette and the other with a full kitchen, dining table to seat 12 and counter seating for 7 more, and a good size deck where you can enjoy a beverage and the views of the beach and the lake. Both of these main level living spaces have a full sized pullout couch. You'll also find a bedroom with a king bed and adjoining full bathroom with stacked washer and dryer. There is a half bath with full washer dryer on this level too.

Take the stairs by the kitchenette up to two more bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a king bed and a twin bed, attached bathroom and a small balcony with two chairs. The other bedroom has a king bed and adjoining bathroom.

Take the other set of stairs by the kitchen up to find yet another sitting area with the 3rd pullout couch and 3 more bedrooms all with adjoining bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed and a fabulous view of the water. The next bedroom is furnished with two queen beds and a twin and the other bedroom has a king bed and twin over full bunk bed.

This house can be rented with the neighboring houses, Oak, Pine, Hickory and Cedar. This is an ideal spot for a large group! Guests have access to the yacht club's private seasonal heated pool (open from Memorial Day until Labor Day), private beach and pavilion, and sand volleyball court. Lodging guests also receive ten percent off all boat rentals. This house is located very close to the historic Bagnell Dam Strip area, just minutes to Baxter’s and JB Hooks Restaurants, favorite golf courses, and many other lake area attractions. Boat slips (uncovered) are available for an additional fee and on a first come basis.

Outstanding Property

My family gathered for our annual summer reunion and this property did not disappoint. There were 22 adults in our party and this property easily accommodated our every need. The kitchen was fantastic and the main floor was huge. The layout was perfect and each bedroom was an ample size so everyone felt like they had their own space to retreat too at the end of the day. The location was perfect for our group as we we were able to walk to the DT restaurants and bars or take a 15 minute Uber ride over to Camden/Shady Gators. We rented a boat as well so the dock located directly across the street from the house made pick-up and drop-off super convenient for us and the boat captain. The house was immaculate when we arrived and their was plenty of parking available. The outside deck was also very large which was an added bonus as it did not appear that large in the pictures. I highly recommend this property for parties of all sizes.

Greatest Family Getaway

The property was fully accommodating for our multi generational reunion with plenty of on-site activities for the older kids, a gorgeous view and small-child-friendly back patio. Kitchen utensils were plentifully stocked and beds were all super comfortable! Will definitely be make Big Thunder our new annual get together location

great place for family reunion

House was spacious and offered everything we needed for a large group. We loved the big gathering area. Kitchen had lots of dishes for our group of 23. Loved having a bathroom in every bedroom and two laundry areas. No bathtubs for little people. Enjoyed having the lake, marina and pool all so close.

Fabulous and affordable

We had a family reunion and rented Beachside and Hickory(new rental). We were pleasantly surprised at how much bigger the house was then the pictures portrayed. We were very in the space, able to feed 41 people and every one had a bed. Plus, any questions or need were meet in a very timely manner with pleasant attitude. Plenty of dishes/sliverware/serving dishes/cookware. The only thing which may not be the owners fault because renters may not follow the rule/request of no shoes in the house was the floor was slightly dirtier than expected considering the rule, other than that the house was very clean. I would rent here again, plenty of activities available to guests. One recommendation, rent any watercraft before arriving.

Great for large get togethers!

We had my mother in law and father in law's 50th Anniversary party with all of our family and had a blast. Love the community living space. We live in the kitchen with any family get together so this kitchen was huge and perfect! The inside of this house is gorgeous. The staff on the property are there in no time if anything comes up or refills of any toiletries! I loved that we were right off the main strip.... within walking distance to shopping, food, and night life. Over all we had an absolutely amazing experience. We will be back for sure! Would highly recommend!

Great stay for our executive team

We had our quarterly offsite here for our Executive Team and families. The house was great for our needs, lots of room, great rooms for each family. The optional bon-fire was a highlight of our time together.

Family Christmas

Our four daughters live in three different states. We rent a house that is midway for everyone, to do a belated family Christmas. This house was awesome! Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the main area was big enough for some fun times for our grands!! We love to cook and spend time together. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of prep and serving dishes, but LOTS of plates,bowls and glasses! The two refrigerators and ovens are great for large groups!! We really enjoyed our stay here!!!

Great location

This is a conveniently located property. The property managers were relatively easy to reach. Our entire family stayed and the space worked well. The heat was a challenge, not easy to regulate and we did not find extra blankets and the kitchen has plenty of plates, bowls, cups but cookware and utensils are limited. We cooked in house so this added some challenges.

Great Place for Big Gathering

We had 10 adults come for the weekend of golf, food and cards. House set up was perfect with plenty of space for the 10 of us, different living areas were great depending on the weather. Golf courses were close and the big table was perfect for both big meals and playing cards. It was the best set up for a large group like ours that we have ever found.

Beachside House #21

Great place to stay for large groups of people. There were bathrooms in every bedroom. A few concerns I had was the first floor AC unit was not working. I informed management and they said the part was ordered and it would not be working throughout our stay. A simple phone call informing me would have been nice. Luckily, the top level unit kept the place cool. Another issue was the grill was not working properly which was fixed the next day. We had planned to grill upon arriving but had to find an alternative option for dinner. Lastly all the TV’s in the house were fuzzy.

Great family reunion getaway

We had a great time! The grill was fealty, had to ask twice before someone came to clean it. The futon upstairs was broken and we couldn’t use it, reported it and they said someone would come fix it but nobody showed up, mentioned that nobody came to fix it and was told they were just going to replace it but didn’t say we are sorry or ni refund for it.

A Day on the Lake - And it was Excellent

The property exceeded expectations based on the original listing. Indoor amenities were better excellent as additional blankets, towels, etc. were provided based on our group size. The upstairs bedrooms are a bit odd, as you can't access all five from one staircase. Three are on one side, then you have to go downstairs, walk to the other side of the house and back upstairs to access the other two. Great for parties with different families, not as convenient when the entire party is looking for easy communication. Overall, it is rated as excellent by ten Seniors on their class trip (and the two chaperones)!
