Welcome to this fully furnished home where you will be close to local shopping, dining, and all that Ames has to offer. This family friendly home features 3 bedrooms, with brand new mattresses, a fully furnished kitchen and movie ready basement! Enjoy your evenings out on the spacious deck that overlooks a large fenced in backyard.

Whether you’re in town to catch a game, for work, to visit friends and family, or just for fun, Cy's Landing offers close proximity to all that Ames has to offer and we would love to be your host!

Many of the best restaurants in Ames are a quick 5-10 minute drive from the house, with Jack Trice and Hilton Coliseum just 2.5 miles away! Stock up on all of the necessities at Hy Vee, less than a mile away.

Comfortable home with lots of thoughtful touches

Checking in was a breeze with clear instructions and a simple code. I was warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift of snacks, muffins, and ice cream! The spotless home had comfortable beds, clean and tidy bathrooms with easy access to essentials, and lots of plush bath towels. The shower had great pressure and provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Strong WiFi and convenient charging stations made it easy to stay connected. The kitchen was well-equipped with sharp knives, matching silverware, and a cozy coffee station. The basement was a comfortable retreat with a TV, and even provided a safe space during a tornado warning. Overall, a delightful and comfortable place to stay near downtown Ames and Iowa State campus.

Best stay ever!

No detail was overlooked! Clean, in great repair, and well stocked. Very nice property and well designed. Beds were super comfy and towels were soft. Muffins upon arrival were a lovely touch! If my daughter chooses Iowa State we will be back!

Amazing house in Ames-Has everything you need!

What an amazing gem! This fabulous home in Ames is the perfect place to stay for a couple people or a group. It was perfectly clean, and very well appointed. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one full bathroom, kitchen and living room, and downstairs, a large TV/family room, a third bedroom and a laundry room in the finished basement. The sheets, bedding and pillows (two types of pillows to choose from) were very comfortable. The bath towels were the fluffiest I've had, and there was soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. for us as well. Simple entry code and lock for check-in and easy to get in and out. The area was nice and quiet. It was so nice that we had two TV/gathering/play areas - great for kids downstairs and adults upstairs! I wish the weather was warmer as we could have enjoyed the great patio and backyard.... next time. The kitchen was well stocked - good coffee area, fridge with filtered water and ice. Washer & Dryer was downstairs if we needed to do a quick wash. Overall, we were really, really happy with our choice to stay at Cy's Landing in Ames. What a perfect place for parents weekends, homecoming and other sports and school weekends in Ames! So much better to be together in one house, with a kitchen. Communication with owners was great - they responded right away.

I grew up 20 miles north of Ames in Jewell, Iowa and moved to Ames in 2010 to play on the ISU Women's Golf Team where I competed for 4 years. In 2015 I started my career in Real Estate and love what I do every day. My husband and I lived in this home on Rockwell for 2 years after getting married and it has always been my dream to be an Airbnb host so we decided to take this adventure with our first home we loved so much! We live in this West Ames neighborhood and also own a few other long term rentals over here. It is a great location for getting anywhere in Ames.

We love attending Iowa State sporting events, playing golf and taking our 3 kids to the neighborhood park.

This neighborhood has a local park, is close to CyRide and is a quick drive to anywhere in Ames whether you're shopping for clothes, need groceries or want to eat at a good restaurant. I have always felt safe living in West Ames and love raising our kids here.

Our property has a true "home" feel rather than just another rental. We have lived here and absolutely loved it so we know that you will too. The back deck and patio / fenced in backyard is second to none and in the summer months that will be a prime spot to spend time siping a cold drink, having a bonfire or playing yard games.
