This ground floor, 2 bedroom/2 bath Shorewood offers all the comforts to make your vacation one to remember. This retreat is located on the ground floor overlooking the new pool complex. The living room area is spacious and includes ample seating and comfortable furnishings. A flat screen tv is provided for your enjoyment. The dining area has seating for 6. Sliders from the living room and master bedroom lead to your patio, the pool, and the ocean.

The master suite has a king-size bed and flat screen TV. The private bath includes a walk-in shower. The guest room features 2 double beds with access to the 2nd bath, to include a tub/shower combination. Both baths feature vanities with granite countertops and above counter sink bowls.

For those guests that like to stay in and entertain, the kitchen is fully stocked. Our villa has a no smoking policy. Shorewood villa complex has a no pet policy.

Sit out on our private patio and take in all the beauty that Hilton Head offers. Enjoy Hilton Head's world renowned beaches.

Shorewood is centrally located in the hub of Hilton Head. The pool complex has a zero entry pool, that is seasonally heated. Included is a hot tub and kiddie pool.

Biking is a must during your visit. Hilton Head has 50 miles of walking/biking paths that are nestled into the lush, natural landscape of lagoons, live oaks and palm trees. When booking, please ask about the discount for bike rentals that we have arranged for our guests.

In the heart of Hilton Head, the villa is within walking distance of morning coffee, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment at Coligny Plaza. Relax on the beach, in the pool area, on your patio, or enjoy miles of beaches and bike trails.

Maximum (2) Parking Passes. No grilling allowed on the Shorewood Property. We recommend you purchase trip insurance.

We had a wonderful time in this condo. The view was amazing and located on the first floor right by the pool. Check in was a breeze and everything was exactly as pictured and super clean. If we decide to visit hilton head again we would try for this same location. You just cant beat the convenience of this condo!!

Perfect Location

This condo was in the perfect location. Having a pool and being steps from the beach was great! I enjoyed being within walking distance of Coligny and a playground for the little ones. The condo was spacious and clean. We would definitely come back.

What can I say, as advertised.

Very nice and clean unit right next to pool, beach, and Coligny Plaza. Easy walk to everything. Nice furniture in unit. Location is perfect for a small family looking for some fun in the sun.

Nice condo

We enjoyed the condo. Close to the pool and the beach. Easy secure access to gates and the pool was amazing. Lots of chairs to enjoy and several tables with umbrellas. Very clean facilities. Within easy walking distance to the tiki and just down from Sea Pines and coligny

Wonderful Shorewood condo

Our family loves Shorewood and this particular condo was located on the lower level which made it much easier when coming back and forth from the beach or the pool with young kids. Condo was very nice and the noise barrier inside the condo is surprisingly good when children are sleeping. We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful condo

My family had an absolutely wonderful first. Our condo was the best ever. Perfect down floor location with step out access to the beautiful pool and beach. Condo was fully stocked with all the dishes and utensils we needed. community was gated which made the property secure and also very quiet. A great place for a family . Deb was attentive and she checked in on us.

Loved it!

Not a single bad thing to say! We loved our stay! Location was perfect for everything. Right by the pool, short walk to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Loved the villa! Perfect amount of space for two adults and two 11 year olds! Loved the fully stocked kitchen! Closet full of beach chairs, toys and a foldable wagon! If you’re thinking about staying here- DO IT! You’ll be so happy you did! 😊

The positives: Location on the island, easy walk to Coligny plaza and short drive to most things you want to see, easy beach walk to the Tiki bar on the beach, short walk out the door to the pool, hot tub, and beach. Things we didn’t like: The master bath is dingy, porch light not working, bathroom light out with no available replacement, furniture old, cupboards old and dingy, no table on patio and the chairs were very worn. Only 2 bathroom hand towels for 5 people. One of the dryer settings did not function(timer not working had to be manually shut off, clothes got extremely hot even though it was on medium). This first floor apartment has no view and the patio is in the walk path of the other apartments so there is low privacy as people are walking by. This place is noisy also from the people staying upstairs as well as 3 out of 5 mornings we awoke around 8ish to the sounds of landscape and maintenance services. The master bath fan is extremely loud. We would recommend the owners spend some time on maintenance, (handle the screen door coming off) lock flange on the closet in master bath is sharp, scraped me good when I bumped into it walking by, furniture (including patio) and highly recommend a window coating to add some privacy at least during the day from folks at the pool or walking by.

Thanks for the review. We will put some additional effort in upgrading the minor times you mentioned, but the only item you reported to us was the porch light. You never mentioned the screen slider, which works fine, the bathroom light was never mentioned but could have been replaced with a simple text to us. Our towel setup has been the same since we began renting, if you needed 2 more hand towels, again, you could have reached out ad we would have happily accommodated but you did not. If you recall, I texted you the day of check-in to let you have my direct contact to reach out for ANYTHING we needed to address while you were staying with us. Other than the porch light, you never reached out to us again. Regarding the items we CAN NOT control... the landscapers are on a scheduled time in the mornings as to not interrupt vacationers during the day at the pool. The location is the closest 1-bedroom flat to the pool, ALL of our previous renters love the location and ease to the pool and beach. You are the first to complain about it. The bathroom fan works just like the day it was installed in the unit. Even though the bathrooms are not updated, they are very clean and user-friendly. We are very pro-active in keeping things in good order, as you could see from the UPDATED flooring in both bedrooms, NEW primary bedroom memory foam mattress, and NEW pots and pans. Our property shows exactly like the property photos on the VRBO site. As a courtesy to you, I would recommend you spend more money next time and stay oceanfront. That may suit you better based on your points, but we can only assume that you chose our property because of the wonderful pricing we offer our guests to come and enjoy the #1 family destination in the continental U.S. year after year, with phenomenal dining, activities, weather, and SO MUCH MORE!

Overall, the kind of was clean. It was unfortunate to see not all the dishes were as clean as some of them still had food on them yet was put away. This is an older condo and as such there are small issues that will be noticed. Such as stains on the ceiling that looks like from an old water leak. This does not take away from the overall condo it is just an observation. Other issues was a broken door handle which The Host acknowledged. If I had to give any real negative feedback, it would be that you will absolutely need to bring pain medicine as the beds are so old that your neck and back and hips are going to hurt. The master bed is quite obviously will passed prime. The spare bedroom beds seem to have lost their resiliency and are extremely soft. The Host was very responsive to any questions and gave complete and full information. The host from my observation is quite exceptional. I will always be happy to work with this host once again. From this condo, it is very easy to get to the beach and listen to the sounds of the ocean. My wife is in a wheelchair so being on the first floor is fantastic it was easy to get her out to the beach. The pool was very nice yet I would personally like to see cleaned a bit more often and not see flakes of human floating in the water. Other than that everything was well taken care of as well as well manicured. Overall this is a good location with a good host and a good view. You cannot see the ocean but you definitely feel it

Hey Adam, thanks for the review. The primary bedroom mattress is BRAND NEW and should have given you a great night sleep. We replaced it just before you arrived with a HIGH END memory foam mattress. I would recommend more calisthenics to get those joints moving! We will make sure to inform the cleaners of the dishes and make sure they are better inspected by our cleaning staff. Thank you for the GREAT personal review, I appreciate you giving me props for being responsive and exceptional! I'm gonna tell my wife you said that, she needs to hear it! Most importantly, we are happy you and your wife were able to enjoy the ease of access to the pool and beach. We would love to have you back in the future. Thanks!

Short Stay

We cut our trip short because of Hurricane Debby. Being on the ground floor, we worried about flooding and weather warnings stating this storm to be an historic, catastrophic event. Communication with the property manager was poor, through we came to find she had a personal situation which prevented her from responding. Her substitute let us know through one email but never replied to subsequent emails. I would suggest that this property be updated, especially the plumbing in the showers and the wood rot in the master bedroom around the sliding doors.

Hey Nancy, thanks for the review. As per our email at the team, the previous property manager was hospitalized shortly before your stay and passed away 8 months later after a long hospital stay. We relayed that to you as quickly as we could at the time, but there was a changeover that occurred because of this event. We have since update the condo with NEW laminate flooring in the bedrooms, NEW memory foam mattress in the primary bedroom, the slider issue has been resolved, NEW post and pans, and NEW A/c in 2025. Great unit and excellent location. Wonderful end unit on the ground level. The pool and beach were great. Very relaxing stay. So much in walking distance. Park your car and no worries. Quiet area. The owner is excellent. Great communication when we had questions. Everything was clean and an easy checkout process. Don’t hesitate to book.

This is more of a value unit. Not fantastic but ok given the location. Some remodeling would be very helpful. Stayed at Shorewood several times but in different units. Pool is good- big and lots of chairs. Water cleanliness is a little lacking the past few times we’ve visited, a lot of debris on the bottom that is gross. But the grounds were so tidy and well taken care of otherwise. Location is unbeatable, beach access is optimal. This unit is an excellent location for access to the plaza, pool and beach. Patio is cute and gets amazing morning sun. A/C worked well in the main areas. Kitchen was stocked well enough to make breakfast (I didn’t cook any other meals aside from cut up fruit and snacks). W\D work well although washer is very loud, would not be able to run it during children’s naps or before bed/watching TV. Space enough for the three of us, mom and two kids. Have my teen the master- king bed likely a Sam’s brand mattress she said was ok. Shower in the master is likely original to the condo and very old- but shower head is good. A/C doesn’t work well in the master and it was very hot, probably 76-79degrees. Br 2 is 2 full beds, 20yr old worn spring mattresses. Not great. Bring your own pillow. Guest shower is good. Some minor TLC would elevate this place.No beach towels or chairs, and this wasn’t advertised, only sent to me after booking.

Pros: Great location close to the pool and beach. Very clean and quick communication with the property manager when a question came up. Plenty of living room seating. Cons: For the price I paid, I expected the unit to have been more updated. While the pictures are accurate, only the counters have been updated in the kitchen and bathrooms. The toilets, cabinetry, showers, ceiling fans, etc. are all very dated.
