Close by are Gold Bug Mine and historic Hangtown in downtown Placerville. With great Boating, Kayaking, Fishing and Hiking around our local lakes and rivers like Sly Park Lake, Icehouse Reservoir, Union Valley Reservoir, Loon Lake, Hell Hole Reservoir, and popular Lake Tahoe is close by (less than one hour) with the many casinos and many Ski Resorts.
