We didn’t spend much time at the house but 4 bathrooms and a lot of beds made it perfect for a big group! Definitely recommend this house along with a great location!

We enjoyed the house it suited our family well. The beach across the road was also great. The only downfall in the house was it lacked sufficient pots and pans. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

It was nice to have six bedrooms and four bathrooms for our extended family of twelve. The bathrooms were excellent. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. We appreciated the long table with seating for twelve. We all enjoyed the beach. Water-shoes are advised. The sunrises were beautiful.

Had ants in the kitchen and the chairs were a bit unsteady for older ladies. Overall the place was good.

The house was gorgeous from the outside especially the lake front. Very convenient for a morning dip and kayaking paddle boarding on the lake. The inside of the house was beautiful as well but the cabinet knobs were loose and some we have to screw them back in. The amenities like hand soap tp etc were lacking. Assuming that guests probably would bring their own. Overall the kids had fun esp. with board games available and they had fun making smores on the bonfire by the lake. Host Laurie was quick to reply with questions.Thank you so much. Traverse city is a beautiful place

Family Retreat

Property was perfect for a family get away. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and socialize. House was located close to Traverse City, Suttons Bay and Glen Arbor for day trips. Plenty of things to do near by too. Host, Laurie, was great to work with and was available to answer any questions if anything came up. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This large house easily accommodated the ten of us (five couples). The kitchen was large and spacious, and nobody got in each other's way when we were getting our coffee or snacks. We were only there for a weekend but enough time to get settled in where we didn't want to leave. On both nights we used the outdoor fire pits (one by the water and one in front of the house). Overall, it was a nice stay and would rent again in the future.

Even better than we expected

We rented this house as a way to celebrate our daughter's first birthday with some special friends who have become like family. We loved that there were plenty of beds, four full bathrooms and enough space to enjoy a meal and time on the beach. The water is a little rocky so I would recommend bringing some Teva sandals if you have them.

The location was close to TC and ice cream shops, but the road it is on is very busy with heavy, fast moving traffic. You do have to cross that to get to the beach area and sitting out on deck or fire it’s pretty loud with the flow of cars. The house was very spacious and welcoming! Few things that could be added are lighters for fire, kitchen hand towels, and glass baking dishes! The host was amazing and answered questions very quickly!

"Eighteen" thumbs up! Our adult family of 9 had so much room, and room to spare! We cooked full meals in the kitchen and had a grilling night on the deck one evening. Location was perfect, right in between TC and Sutton's Bay. We spent time in both towns, along with plenty of hiking and biking. Out host was lovely and prompt and helpful.
