This elegant four-bedroom home was designed to impress, from the expansive decks to the floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the horizon. With dramatic scenery, thoughtful design, and a setting just 20 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge, the experience here is as elevated as the view.

THE SPACE
Inside Waterfall Lodge, the soaring great room brings the landscape in through walls of glass. A beautiful social concept living area is flanked by leather seating and a backdrop of layered ridgelines. The kitchen sits just beyond, with granite counters, stainless appliances, and natural wood cabinetry. A live-edge dining table rests beside wide windows that catch the first light of day. A dedicated workspace upstairs provides a quiet place to focus between outings.

On the main is a beautiful main ensuite with private bath showcasing a large whirlpool tub and separate dual head shower. Two bedrooms are located on the upper level, one with a private a balcony with views for miles and connecting Jack-and-Jill bath to the other bedroom. The lower level includes an additional bedroom – steps away from the game room - and bathroom, offering extra privacy for extended family or friends.

Outdoors, the scene is unforgettable where there are more than 50 miles of unobstructed short and long-range Blue Ridge Mountain vistas that surround the home 180 degrees. A 25-foot waterfall cascades beside the home into a rock-lined pond, visible from the deck above. The hot tub sits under cover, perfectly placed for cool evenings and morning mist. A fire pit near the waterfall invites long conversations under the stars, and the garage has been converted into a game room which also includes views of the Blue Ridge Mountains through the full-glass garage door. This is the hot spot to chill where guests can play a game of pool, table tennis or compete with each other on the 4-player upright arcade machine with 4,708 vintage video games. Younger guests will love the cozy, woodland-themed reading nook furnished with plush, kid-sized beanbag chairs and plenty of children`s books.

Nearby, Mercier Orchards welcomes visitors year-round for seasonal fruit picking, tastings, and baked goods straight from the farm.

The nightly rate covers the first 4 people. Each additional person is just $30 per person/per day. This applies to anyone age 3 and over (kids 2 and under are free). The fee is applied to anyone that comes to the property (not just those staying the night). The extra person fee covers additional wear and tear to the property and amenities, additional professional cleaning/disinfecting, increased use of the internal plumbing, electricity, and other utilities, etc.

For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are external security cameras in the following locations on this home:

1. Lower driveway
2. Middle Driveway
3. Upper Driveway

These cameras record exterior areas only and hold the information for 30 days. Footage is only reviewed in the event of a break-in or any potential house rules violation. There are no cameras anywhere inside the home.
We have exterior cameras located near the front door, garage, and driveway near the waterfall (there are NO cameras inside the home).

We may be able to host events depending on the type of event, number of people and number of cars. Check with the host for details. The typical cost is $30 per person and must be approved by host.

No smoking inside the house or garage. Evidence of smoking inside will result in a $1000 fine.

Other general rules:

1. Respect our neighbor’s property and do not trespass into their yards or driveways.
2. Keep the noise outside to a reasonable level at all times.
3. Quiet hours outside begin at 10:00 pm.
4. Any outside amplified music must be preapproved by host.
5. Cars should be parked on the driveway. Absolutely no street parking permitted.
6. Fireworks and firearms are prohibited on the property.
7. Neighbors are aware that guests often stay at this home. Please treat them with respect and courtesy as you would the people in your neighborhood.
8. Please lock all doors and windows
9. We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay.
10. No off-road vehicles are allowed on the premises.
11. Refund Policy: 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival.
12. Please do not attach anything to the walls or ceilings with tape, tacks or anything else as this can cause damage which you will be charged for.
13. Please place any moved furniture back in its original position. A $100 fee will apply if all items are not properly reset before checkout.
14. An additional fee of $200 will be charged for guests who arrive early (before the designated check in time) and also for those who check out late (after the designated check out time).
15. Cancelled reservations will be charged 3% to cover credit card processing fees.
16. Pets are not allowed in the house or on the property.
17. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this home.
18. You will be charged an additional $500 for neighbor complaints.
19. You will be charged an additional $500 if security is dispatched to the property.
20. You will be charged an additional $1,000 if the police is called to the property and
you will likely have to vacate the property immediately without a refund.
21. You will be charged a penalty of $500 plus $60/person for everyone on the property
that was not included on your reservation count to be on the property.
22. Guests are required to sign the rental agreement prior to check in. Check in instructions will not be sent if the rental agreement is not signed.
