Your ideal getaway awaits at this enchanting 1-bedroom cottage located just outside Malone. Nestled in a serene setting, located just a few miles from the Adirondack Park, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and golfing. Titus Mountain, voted #1 family-friendly ski resort in North America, is just minutes away. Lake Placid, with its Olympic history and charming shops and restaurants, is within an hour's drive. Hike the 46 highest peaks of the Adirondacks; fish for pike, trout, bass, and lakers in many local ponds, lakes, and rivers; spend the day in Montreal (78 miles); explore nearby snowmobile and ATV trails; tee off at the Malone Golf Club, awarded 4.5 stars from Golf Digest; relive history at Almonzo Wilder's homestead (Little House on the Prairie); learn all about nature at the VIC (28 minute drive) or The Wild Center (1 hour drive). After all your adventures, find comfort in the queen bed and cozy living room with a sofa bed. A must-visit! I came to Malone to get away from it all and the Beech House did not disappoint! Immaculately clean, charming decor, beautiful scenery, well-appointed, many thoughtful amenities, quiet, and private. Check in was easy and friendly. It was literally the most lovely stay I’ve enjoyed. Thank you so much! I can’t wait to come back already.

The cottage was perfect! If it is not new, it is not far from it. Beth put a lot of touches in it making that cottage one of the nicest I have rented. Perfect spot to go hiking the Adirondacks mountains. Will definetely recommend and rent again.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well equipped cottage. It leaves nothing to wish for, and plenty to admire. Peaceful, noise-free HVAC and the fine design made this stay a spa experience. We were smiling the whole time there.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Beech House! The cabin was beautifully decorated, and the amenities went above and beyond our expectations. Whether you're cozying up by the outdoor fire pit or gazing at the stars (or even meteors!) under the dark sky, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. We highly recommend a visit—you won’t be disappointed!

Hidden Gem last minute find

We booked both cabins last minute for a family wedding after discovering that all the local hotels were completely booked and honestly it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The property was easy to find, and the host was absolutely exceptional. Beth responded quickly to all our questions and even reached out proactively to make sure we had everything we needed, including a topper for the pull-out couches such a thoughtful touch! Each cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. They truly thought of everything toiletries, laundry soap, and even games, puzzles, and books for all ages. I felt like a home away from home We were especially impressed by how dog friendly the cabins were. They even provide a poop bags which made traveling with our pup so much easier. They also included firewood for the fire pit everything you absolutely needed. The nearby trails were a fantastic bonus and we love exploring the local restaurants in Malone so many great options! If you're looking for a peaceful, well stocked, and pet friendly get away with a host who generally cares this is the place. We'll definitely be back

Excellent host! We loved staying here at this little Cabin getaway. Can’t wait to visit again. We felt right at home and enjoyed every second of our weekend trip. Great location with multiple hiking, biking, and kayaking/boating sites within driving distance.

My fiance and I loved our stay at the Beech House. All the amenities were fantastic and we were extremely close to the Adirondacks Park. The house has everything you needed for a short or long stay, and plenty of firewood for nights by the campfire. The host was attentive to our needs and the house itself was quirky and fun. I loved all the colors and the porch at night was amazing. We would definitely stay here again, can’t recommend it enough!

We enjoyed our time here!

We enjoyed the quiet, wooded setting. The cabin is new and nicely appointed. We enjoyed visiting the Almanzo Wilder farm, hiking, and visiting Saranac Lake and the Eisenhower Lock on the St. Lawrence River. Plenty to do, but the cabin is also nice for relaxing. The firepit was great also.
